The Rev. Richard "Dean" Gann, 69, died July 13, 2004, in Fort Worth. Funeral
services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 17, in Greenwood Funeral Home
Chapel, and burial will follow at Veale Creek Cemetery in Stephens County.

The Rev. Gann was born Oct. 28, 1934, in Loving. He was married to Dorthy Gann
Faulkner from 1952-1991. He was pastor of Fundamental Baptist Church in Decatur
from 1965-1969 and pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Jacksboro from 1972-1980.

Survivors include two daughters, Lynette Phelps of Lewisville and Tammy Gann
Schuster of Fort Worth; a son, Daren Gann of Burleson; six grandchildren,
Charles Phelps, Ashley Phelps, Jennifer Riley, Steven Warden, Whitney Gann and
Conrad Schuster; and two brothers, Gordon Gann and Galen Gann, both of Fort
Worth.
