Raul Gonzalez, 48, of Graham died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Hendrick Medical
Center in Abilene. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at
First Baptist Church in Throckmorton with the Revs. Darvin Shipman of Graham and
Will Fish of Throckmorton officiating. Burial will follow at Throckmorton
Cemetery under the direction of Merriman-Archer Funeral Home.

Mr. Gonzalez was born Nov. 30, 1956, in Monroe, La. He was a custodian at
Crestview Elementary School. He was a longtime Throckmorton resident. He married
Stephanie Jones May 10, 1990, in Breckenridge. He was a soccer coach and a
member of the Baptist church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Gonzalez, July 10, 1993.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Gonzalez of Graham; three sons, Daniel
Gonzalez, Jordan Gonzalez and Nathan Gonzalez, all of Graham; his mother,
Teodora Gonzalez of Muncie, Ind.; five sisters, Lupe Navarro and Josie Navarro,
both of Throckmorton, Angie Navarro of Breckenridge, Petra Gonzales of Muncie
and Sheley Smith of Newcastle, Ind.; five brothers, Victor Gonzalez of
Noblesville, Ind., Tony Gonzalez and Pedro Gonzalez, both of Muncie, Rene
Gonzalez of Throckmorton and Rick Gonzalez of Newcastle, Ind.
