Mrs. Johnston was the daughter of the late Julia Etta Sanders Kennedy and Joseph
Kennedy. She was born in Loving in 1917, and lived there until her young
adulthood.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Arthur Leon Johnston Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Janis Landry and husband Robert; one son,
Arthur Johnston Jr.; four grandchildren, Neeley Landry Kim and husband Mike,
Jodie Landry Hughes and husband Michael, Brad Landry, Colin Landry and wife
Tiana; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Weido, Mason Kim and Slater Kim.
