Sam E. Martin, 70, of Graham died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at Seven Oaks 
Nursing Home in Olney. Funeral Services were held Friday, Aug. 27 at 
Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Finfrock, pastor of Oak 
Street baptist Church, officiating.

Mr. Martin was born Aug. 25. 1934 in Newcastle, to the late Morgan A. and 
Willie Mae (McClure) Martin. He married Katherine Phillips. He was a 
member of Oak Street Baptist Church and was a supervisor for Knight 
Construction.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Martin of Graham; a daughter, 
Cynthia Goad of Midland; a son, Samuel J. Martin and wife Sharon of 
Graham; a sister-in-law, Faye Martin of Bryson; a sister, Emma Kellow of 
Graham, a brother, William Martin of Stephenville; six grandchildren, 
Misty, Mandy, Bobby, Jennifer, Joe Ray and Kati Jo; and two 
great-grandchildren, Zachary and Harlee.
