McClanahan, 90, of Fort Worth died Saturday, June 12, 2004, in a Fort Worth hospital. Graveside services were Tuesday, June 15, at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford. Born Dec. 28, 1913, in Graham, Mr. McClanahan retired February 1961 from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service. He received several decorations during his career, including the Korean Service Medal, seven Bronze Service Stars and a World War II Victory Medal. He was a security guard for Pinkerton and Burns and a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, Florence McClanahan of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mary Botkin of Graham and Billie Jo Mosley of Austin; three bothers, Roger McClanahan, Bob McClanahan and Howard McClanahan, all of Graham; a sister-in-law, Donna Bell McClanahan of Graham; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Rogers, in 1991. Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Harrell and husband Charles of Graham; four sons, Larry Rogers and wife Jamie, David Rogers and wife Joni and Tim Rogers, all of Graham, and Dwight Rogers of Longview; 10 grandchildren, Stacey Martin, Jessica Betler, Cpl. Bret Rogers, Cassie Rogers, Kelly Harrell, Blake Rogers, Mandy Rogers, Eric Rogers, Alexa Rogers and Devin Rogers; and a great grandson, Zane Rogers.
