Born 7 March 1904, in Hunt County to John and Georgia Day Morrow, Cora Day was one of nine children. She grew up in East Texas and attended East Texas State University. She lived in Dallas, Wichita Falls, and Graham before moving to Midland in 1985. Cora Day was a wonderful homemaker, seamstresss and gardener. She was an Elder of Graham First Presbyterian Church, retired legal secretary and member of Midland Grace Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, N. Edgar Moore in June 1969 at Graham, Texas. Survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Rudy "Pat" Rendall of Midland, Shirley Moore Green of Austin. Five grandchildren: Robert and Jackie Rendall and Elizabeth and Bobby Lee of Midland; Greg and Nanette Rendall of Eden Prairie, Minn., Lynn Green of Fort Worth, Tracy and Steve Anderson of Laramie, WY; Scott, Ryan and Callie Rendall of Eden Prairie, Amanda, Patrick and Anna Lee of Midland. 6 nieces. Funeral services were at Grace Presbyterian Church of Midland with Rev. Mary Beth Anton officiating. Graveside at Crestview cemetery in Wichita Falls where she was laid to rest beside her husband. Arrangement are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home of Midland.
