Harrison Runyon, 67, of Newcastle died Sunday, June 20, 2004, in an Olney
nursing home. Funeral services were Tuesday, June 22, at Lunn Funeral Home
Chapel with Scotte Clark officiating. Burial followed at Newcastle Cemetery.

Mr. Harrison was born Oct. 17, 1936, in Newcastle to the late Converse and
Catherine Iva (Long) Runyon. He worked for Markum and Robertson's Barbershop
shining shoes as a child and on a delivery truck for PepsiCola. He established
an aluminum can route in Olney, Graham and Newcastle. He was a member of First
Baptist Church in Newcastle.

Survivors include a sister, Violeta Lea and husband Alfred of Springtown; two
nieces, Barbara Cannon of Springtown and Carolyn Nichols of Azle; and numerous
great-nieces and -nephews.
