Fifth Annual Roberts Reunion Held in City

Descendants of the late J.D. and Emma Roberts met at the Pump Station Park Saturday,
July 31st, and at the American Legion Hall Sunday for the fifth annual reunion.
Forty-three gathered at the Driver Coffee Shop Sunday morning for a delightful breakfast.
At mid-morning, 61 relatives and several friends of the family gathered at the Hall for
visiting and singing of a selection of gospel songs. At noon, a good lunch was served
by the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Lodge. The left overs were delivered at the Eden Home.
George Checotah, of Wichita Falls gave an inspiring thanks for our evening meal and
Keith Sheets said a solemn prayer at noon. Ralph Roberts gave the dismissal prayer.

Out of town relatives were here: Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Smith of Shreveport, LA, Mr. and Mrs.
W.A. Brock of Mineola; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Roberts,
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Roberts and children: Jim Bob, Terry, Bama and Trena of Wichita Falls;
Mr. and Mrs. Billy Ralph Roberts, Leigh Ann and Billy Keith, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Sheets,
Pamela Sue and Jera Nell of Irving; Mrs. Sue Holland, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Holland and
daughter, Donna, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Pierson, Kathy and Kregg of Seminole; Mr. and Mrs.
Billy Albert Roberts of Richardson; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walker of Dallas; Mr. and Mrs.
Kirk Black and daughter, Vickie of Fort Worth, Mr. and Mrs. Caroll Don Roberts and son
Brent of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Odis Reedy and daughters, Cheryl and Sharon of Dallas;
Mike Robertson, son of Orval Roberts, serving in the Navy and home on oleave from Viet
Nam.

Local relatives: Mr. and Mrs. B.D. Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Roberts, Mr. and Mrs.
F.N. Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Roberts, and son, Frank J., Mr. and Mrs. Orval Roberts,
and children: Linda, Jenny Ruth, Laura, Jackie, Rhonda and Bryan Scott; Mr. and Mrs.
A.L. Walker and daughter, Rhonda. 

Friends from Wichita Falls were Mr. and Mrs. George Checotah, Mrs. Carmen Wellfare
and son Kevin; Mr. Floyd Farquaharson of Guthrie, Okla; local friends, 
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bishop, Kay and Sue; Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Williams
Harlan Crawford and son, and Bobby Roach.
