D. Stevens who killed Hillburn on the 4th inst. has made his escape. ...Stevens, who killed Hillburn at Silver Reef, was held without bail. Pollard, who was a partner to the difficulty, was held to bail in $1,000 bonds, both to answer to the Grand Jury of the present term of court. ...The man killed at Silver Reef on the Fourth was named Wm Hillburn. The parties to the affair were James Pollard and J. R. Stevens. Stevens formerly lived at Pioche, and Pollard at one time lived in Beaver county, where he is generally known. Their trial will take place at Beaver, most likely during the present term of court.
