RIGBY BRIGHAM CITY Kyle Lamond Rigby, 75, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 5, 2003. Kyle was born on January 21, 1928 in Fairview, Utah. He was the 11th child born to William Emer and Mary Moriah Peterson Rigby. He graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1946. He served a full time LDS mission to Stockholm, Sweden. When he returned home he met and married Juanita Johnson in the Manti LDS Temple on March 9th, 1951. Kyle served in the Air Force for 2 Ž years in Olathe, Kansas. Then he and his young family lived in Kearns, Ut, Jerome, ID and he has lived the last 37 years of his life in Brigham City, UT. Kyle worked for Safeway, Brigham City Corporation and Thiokol. Kyle enjoyed yard work and doing good for others. He was a member of the Lions Club and Sons of the Utah Pioneers. As a member of the LDS 24th ward, he has served in various callings. He cherished his membership in the church and truly appreciated his friends and neighbors. Surviving are his wife, Juanita of Brigham City; five children, Deanne Peter of Dayton, Ohio; Karin Allen of Smithfield, Utah; Julie Orgill; Kurt Rigby; Janet Barlow all of Brigham City, Utah; 22 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Weldon Rigby and Theora Gledhill both of Salt Lake City, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2003 at 12:30 p.m. at the Brigham City 24th Ward, 650 Anderson Drive, Brigham City. Emily Bingham August 27, 1985 - May 1, 2003 Emily Bingham, 17, a sweet, valiant, and beautiful young woman, passed away from this life, Thursday, May 1, 2003 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Emily was born August 27, 1985, in Tremonton, Utah, to Evan Glen and Amy LeCheminant Bingham. Emily is the adored older sister of Matthew 14, Aubrey, 11, Molly 9, Cameron 6, Annie and Melissa 3. She has a special love for each of them. A huge portion of her life was devoted for caring for them. After living in American Fork the first two years of her life, her family moved to Snowflake, Arizona where they lived for 13 years. She loved living in Snowflake and has a special place in her heart for the people there. When Emily was 14 her family moved to Sanpete County and built a home in between Manti and Ephraim. She was a senior at Manti High School where she was to graduate this month with high honors. At Manti High she discovered her love of drama and she enjoyed her leading roles in the school musicals. Emily has a passion for music and she was always singing! She especially loved playing the piano and had recently learned to play to organ. We will truly miss her beautiful voice and the music she brought into our lives. Emily reigned as first attendant in the 2002 Miss Ephraim royalty where she had many rewarding experiences. Emily was looking forward to attending Snow College where she had an academic scholarship. Her friends were very special to her and she loved spending time with them. She has a sensitive and caring heart and she lived her life making others happy. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile. Emily loves her Heavenly Father and has a very strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was a Laurel in the Manti Second Ward. Emily has a great love for the scriptures and memorized all 100 seminary mastery scriptures. She is an excellent example of high moral values and modesty. She is survived by her parents and her six brothers and sisters, Grandpa Albert Frances Bingham (Honeyville), Grandpa Eli Stanford LeCheminant (Brenda) SLC, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving grandmas, Coralee A. LeCheminant and Ruth M. Bingham, also her cousin, Angee Bingham. Services were held May 6 at the Manti Stake Center in Manti, Utah. We will miss you Emily! STEVEN ANTONIO BRIGHAM CITY, UTAH - Our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Friend, Steven L. Antonio, 52 passed away peacefully with family by his side, Wednesday, May 7, 2003. Steven was born March 25, 1951, in Albuquerque, New Mexico the fifth of ten children to Willetto B. Antonio and Lorena Reed Antonio. Steven married Sue Mathis (Steele) they were later divorced and remained the best of friends. Sue was always there for Steven. Steven lived a hard courageous life. He loved to make others laugh. As a lead man at Thiokol, he enjoyed the work and the friends that he made. He received several awards while at Thiokol. Steven also worked at Autoliv. For the last few years, he has been living in Logan where he was mentoring at the Bear River Club House where he made a lot of wonderful friends. Steven is survived by his sons; Jason B. Antonio, Logan, UT; Dustin P. Antonio, Willard, UT; his grandchildren, Kelly Anne, Jase, Rhiannon, Dakota, Stephanie, Sammy, his sisters; Nancy (Steve) Cramer, Tremonton, UT, Pat (Dick) Walker, Sandy, UT; JoAnn (Marty) Hensley, West Valley, UT; Chris (Jack) Clark, Roy, UT; Ursula (Garen) Hyer, Brigham City, UT; Elaina (Joe) Kliger, Farr West, UT and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Mike, Colin and Tracy; also good friends Alan R. Madsen and Lyndon K. Stuart (Stu). At Steven s request cremation has taken place. DAVIS BRIGHAM CITY- Phyllis Jean Davis, 37, loving sister, died Saturday, May 10, 2003 at the Brigham City Hospital. She was born on March 20, 1966 in San Francisco, California, a daughter of Phillip and Jennifer L. Pubigee Davis. She was a member of the LDS church. She attended Box Elder High School and also was active in the Rainbow Club. Phyllis was a member of the Northwestern Band of Shoshone. Survivors include one brother, Phillip Jay Davis and one sister, Jennifer Rae Davis both of Ogden, two uncles, Leland and Boyd Pubigee and one aunt, Helen Timbimboo all of Brigham City. Lynn was born November 17, 1932 in Honeyville, Utah a son of Wallace Abraham and Amy Burnham Hunsaker. He spent a lot of his earlier years bear back riding and bull riding in various rodeos. Lynn was in the Navy during the Korean War. He married Frances A. Petersen on November 6, 1955 in Mexico. Lynn was a member of the Honeyville 2nd Ward. He loved fishing, hunting and camping. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Lynn worked for Parsons, Thiokol and retired from UDOT in 1994. He has been a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 45 years where he was the President, Past President and a State Officer. Surviving are his wife; Frances, children; Denise (Alan) Bell, Terreton, ID; Donna (Craig) Hunsaker, Roy, UT; DeeWayne (Jayne) Hunsaker, Murtaugh, ID; Linda (Shannon) King, Garland, UT; 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brother and sisters; Dean (Colleen) Hunsaker; Helen (Courtley) Holman; Lois (Kennth) Tinney; Carolyn (Bob) Smith and sister-in-law; LaVerne Hunsaker. HYER BRIGHAM CITY Roy Julian Hyer was called back by his Heavenly Father on May 11, 2003 in Brigham City. Roy was born in Logan, Utah on October 11, 1938 to Norwood J. and Mary Hyer. He earned his college degree at Weber Sate University. Roy worked at Thiokol Corporation for 36 years before retiring. Roy enjoyed elk and deer hunting on his horses Rebel and Alpo; camping, cruises, and winter getaways to Mexico. Roy is survived by his son Garen (Ursula) Hyer, Brigham City; his daughters Krista Holmes, Salina; and MaryAnn Hyer, Brigham City. He also loved his nine grandchildren very much. He was preceded in death by his parents. Send condolences to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com Robert A. "Bob" Craghead Robert A. "Bob" Craghead, 53, of Waterloo, died at his home on Friday, May 16th of kidney cancer. He was born November 9, 1949 in Brigham City, Utah, the son of Robert J. and Lucille Misrasi Craghead. He married Christine M. Baier on November 24,1979 in Waterloo. He had worked as a master electrician for Denver Electric for 13 years. Survivors include his wife, Christine of Waterloo; a son, Nicholas Craghead and a daughter, Penelope Craghead, both at home; his father, Robert J. Craghead of Brigham City, Utah; a brother, William "Ted" (Von) Craghead of Toledo; and 2 sisters, Christine (Jerry) Secrist of Baker City, OR and Patsy (Steven) Cutler of Brigham City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his mother and paternal and maternal grandparents. Services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Linden United Methodist Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. SINA CORA WILCOX BURTON BRIGHAM CITY Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, Sina Cora Wilcox Burton, 95, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at the University of Utah Medical Center from injuries sustained in a house fire. She was born on December 20, 1907 in Huntsville, Utah, a daughter of Hyrum Nephi and Cora Kemsley Nielsen. Cora married Clarence H. Wilcox on March 19, 1922 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1942. She later married James F. Burton Winnemucca in 1950. He preceded her in death. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Brigham City 23rd Ward. She had been a primary teacher and in the Relief Society. Cora was a member of the Daughter of the Utah Pioneers. She worked at Utah Knitting Mills and at the Dee Hospital in Ogden. Surviving are her three children, Clarence Wayne (Velma) Wilcox of Brigham City: Shirley (Robert) Wagner of Mantua; Ruth (Gale) Allred of Honeyville; one daughter-in-law, Doris Wilcox of Perry; 26 grandchildren; 78 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Marie Olsen of Young Ward. She was preceded in death by her husbands, three sisters, two brothers, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gillies Petersen Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City. WILMA HOLLIDAY HINTON JENSEN MANTUA Wilma Holliday Hinton Jensen, 71, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2003, at the Brigham City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on October 9, 1931, in Silver Lake, Kansas, a daughter of Lloyd and Loretta Holliday. She spent her first 30 years in Kansas, were all her eight children were born. Wilma was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and brought the family to Utah with her children s father, Kenneth Hinton. She served one mission in California. In 1986 she married Gilbert Jensen and made her home in Mantua. It was from here she and Gilbert went on six missions and she is now entering into her eighth mission. Surviving is her husband, Gilbert; her children, Gloria (Robert) Lambeth; Windy (Mark) Manning; Robert (Edda) Hinton; Keith Hinton; Vicky (Dan) Maxwell; Verne (Nannette) Hinton; Esther (Alvin) Richins; Christene (Ruperto) Bonilla; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; four sisters, Audrey; Joyce; Hattie; Margaret. She was preceded in death by two sisters, and three brothers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003
