She was born on October 6, 1946, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Elwin C. and Jessie Mae Collett Dickson. She graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Utah State University. She married Robert E. Gaydos and moved to Richmond, Utah, where they made a home and had a long awaited and dearly loved daughter, Patience Gaydos. After struggling with an illness for many years following surgery, she moved to Brigham City where she resided with her loving parents for several years until she moved to Brigham Rehab and Nursing where she lived and was loved until her passing. She is survived by her parents, Elwin and Jessie Mae Dickson of Brigham City; a sister, Jean C. Dickson of St. George; her daughter, Patience Gaydos of Logan; two nieces, Melody Dickson, St. George and Linda Trafton, CA. There was an open intimate service under the direction of Brother John Durrant on Tuesday, December 7, at Brigham City Fifteenth Ward Chapel. Wilson 79, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on December 4, 2004, at Pioneer Care Center. Jeanne was born October 13, 1925, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, the oldest of five children. Her parents were Forest Fox and Estella Rebecca Draper. She married Charles Abiel Wilson, Jr. on June 20, 1945. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. Jeanne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served two service missions with her husband Charles, one at the Intermountain Indian School and the other at the Brigham City Tabernacle. She also served as a ward librarian and in the primary as a teacher and nursery leader. Surviving are her children: Charles Terry "C.T./Charlie" Wilson of Tremonton; Dave Wilson of Tremonton; Gloria Jeanne (Gary) Fredrickson of Willard; Evelyn Wilson of California; Dianne (Boyd) Call of Layton; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, John (Belin) Burlew, and two sisters, Dell (Harold) Blum of Delaware, and Debbie (Dan) Miller of Riverdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Wilson, Jr., her brother Dallas Burlew and her parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 8, at 11 a.m. at the Brigham Ninth Ward, 236 South 100 East. ALICE HARRIS NELSON IDAHO FALLS, ID - Alice Harris Nelson, 87, of Idaho Falls, died November 9, 2004, at Teton House in Rexburg. She was born June 6, 1917, in Brigham City, Utah, to William Henry Harris and Adela Clark Harris. She attended schools in the area, graduating from Box Elder High School. She attended Weber College in Ogden, Utah. On February 9, 1939, she married Vaughn C. Nelson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alice enjoyed golf, playing bridge, cooking, sewing, reading and writing. Survivors include her children: Christine "Chris" Probasco of Salt Lake City; Roderick "Rod" V. (Trenna) Nelson and Tyler H. Nelson, both of Idaho Falls; Kathryn "Katie" N. (Michael) Metcalf of Spokane, Washington; James "Jim" Henry (Barbara) Nelson of St. Anthony; a brother, Richard Harris of Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and two brothers. JOYCE R. WELLS Joyce R. Wells, 81, of Bancroft, Idaho, died Friday, December 10, 2004, at her son's home in Blackfoot. She was born March 27, 1923, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of George Edgar and Grace Gilbert Ross. Joyce received her education at Box Elder School District in Brigham City, Utah. She married Lysle D. Wells on March 22, 1941, in Ogden, Utah. She lived in Corinne, Utah, and Bancroft, Idaho, where she and Lysle farmed. Joyce was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and National Rifle Association. She loved to fish and be with her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her son, Mark (Shirley Ann) Wells of Blackfoot; one daughter, DeOnn (Louis) Roberts of California; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Darrin; and three brothers, Marty, Dean, and Buzz. Services will be held at a later date in the Brigham City Cemetery. Cremation and services are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. RICHARD DAVID SIPPEL BRIGHAM CITY - Richard David Sippel, 28, of Brigham City returned home to his Father in Heaven on November 30, 2004, in Spooner, WI. He was born on July 29, 1976, in Berwyn, IL, to Frank and Marie (Kordzinski) Sippel of Hayward, WI. He was known to all of his friends and family as Rick. Rick Graduated from Northwood High School in Minong, WI, and attended college at Utah State Univesrity in Logan. He was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an active member of the Eagle Mountain YSA Ward in Brigham City where he had many friends. Rick is survived by both of his parents; two brothers, Frank (Lorraine) Sippel II of Brigham City; B.J. (Michelle) Sippel of Minong, WI; and one sister, Krystal Sippel of Minong, WI; he had one niece, Shaina of Laughlin, NV; his maternal grandmother, Elvira Kordzinski of Lynwood, IL; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving are his stepchildren: Jackie, Dani, Jessica, Robert and Katie Brisky, all of Hatton, ND; his dear friends, Kristine Winkler and Brad Winkler, both of Hatton, ND and Todd Winkler of Hayward, WI; and his "Grandma" Meg Call and "Grandpa" Jim Call of Brigham City. The funeral was held at the Brown Funeral Home in Minong, WI, on Thursday, December 2, President Stephen Scott of the Hayward, WI, Branch officiated. Rick was cremated. The honorary pallbearer's were B.J. Sippel and Frank Sippel II, Todd and Brad Winkler, Dan and Jimmy Stelton, Whitney Werner and Jerry Pierce. At the time of Rick's death he was planning a temple wedding with his beloved fiance, Jenna Clark of Brigham City. The two became engaged a month before his passing. "TOGETHER AGAIN" ELETHIA "LEE" LONGLEY BRIGHAM CITY - Elethia "Lee" Longley, 85, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2004, at her home in Brigham City, Utah. She was born on February 24, 1919, in Utica, New York, a daughter of James Thomas and Gertrude Spohn Williams. Lee married her sweetheart, Cam Longley on June 18, 1938, in Utica, New York. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2001. She was a member of the Civic Improvement Club, Elks Wives' Club and the National Outlaw & Lawman Association. Lee enjoyed playing bridge, knitting, travel, and was an avid reader and writer. Surviving are two daughters, Josephine (Jo) Heck, City Island, New York; Jeanne Longley, Portland, Oregon; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anne Meeker and one sister, Shirl Meeker. A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 12, at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, Brigham City. You may email condolences to the family at www.gilliespetersen.com. LUCILLE HUXTABLE LAWSON BRIGHAM CITY - A musician now is silent. A teacher has bequeathed her knowledge to her students. Lucille Huxtable Lawson ended her courageous battle with cancer on December 10, 2004. She passed away quietly in her home surrounded by her loving husband, children and grandchildren. Lucille was born December 21, 1927, on a farm in Buena Vista County in Northwestern Iowa, the third of three daughters of Elmore Clyde and Alice Lenora Leeper Huxtable. She started accompanying musicians and singers, and teaching piano in the ninth grade. She attended Providence Consolidated School near Newell, Iowa, where she was salutatorian of her senior class. She voraciously studied piano and theory at Sherwood Conservatory in Chicago and academics at DePaul University. She was an inveterate reader and insatiable student of the Scriptures. Lucille and Don Lawson were married May 12, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa. They joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in October, 1962, in Santa Ana, California. The next year they moved to Utah where she not only abundantly shared her musical talent, but also inspired many gospel students in the Gospel Doctrine class she taught for 13 years. Lucille became an avid scriptorian. As a piano coach she instilled in her pupils a knowledge of right and wrong and integrity, as well as a love for music. She was a confidante as well as a teacher. As a musician she taught the importance of diligence and hard work. Many of her music students have performed professionally because of her tutelage. The musical comedies Gandy Dancers and Bagatelle came from her creative talent. She composed over 30 musical numbers for these two shows. The Gandy Dancers was performed for the Centennial Celebration of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad in 1969. In 1973 Governor Calvin Rampton designated Lucille the "Utah Resident Musician of the Year", and she was awarded $3,000. Surviving are her husband, Don L.; two daughters in Brigham City, Lynn Lenor Lawson and Paige Ann (Kenneth) Corbridge; a son Jeffry Lee (Carol) Lawson of Longmont, Colorado; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Leah Waterman, of Newell, Iowa. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marjie Towe of Paullina, Iowa. WILBUR BEE HEDRICK "Will" 1932-2004 SMITHFIELD/PERRY - Will Hedrick, beloved husband, father, and grandpa, returned home on December 11, 2004, at the age of 72. He was born on November 25, 1932, in Marysville, ID. His death marked the end of a valiant, nine-year struggle with the crippling effects of a major stroke. At the time of his passing, Will was surrounded by loved ones, including his eternal sweetheart and dedicated caregiver, Erlene. Will graduated from schools in Ashton, ID, where he excelled in the sport of boxing. His family owned a farm west of the Grand Tetons. He loved the view of these peaks from the farm. His love of God and the history of this country caused him to weep at the sight of the American flag. His patriotism caused him to join the Army Reserve in 1951. He became a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army, Second Infantry Division, and served in Korea until December 1954. Will entered Utah State University in 1956, where he was active in school and fraternity sporting events. He was a life long member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and has remained close to his fraternity brothers and their families. He has been a member of the Big Blue Club and USU Alumni Association for many years. He married his USU sweetheart, Erlene Gordon, on May 19, 1960 in the Logan Temple. They graduated together two weeks later. Their first teaching positions were in Tooele, UT, and Will later taught at Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City. Will and Erlene raised their three children in Perry, UT. Will later became the Base Education Officer at Hill Air Force Base and retired in 1994 after 30 years of government service. Will and Erlene returned to Cache Valley in 1997. Will loved his family dearly and was very proud of their accomplishments. As a young child on the family farm, he learned to work, and taught his children the value of hard work. If Will committed to do something, he made it happen, regardless of personal sacrifice. He and Erlene instilled this philosophy in their children. Will was an avid sports enthusiast and encouraged athletes of all ages to excel. Sports teams of his alma mater enjoyed devotion rivaled only by his commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ. A lifetime of service in the LDS Church humbled and refined him, and prepared him for many challenges at the close of his life. He served in the bishopric in Perry Second Ward, was a Stake High Councilor and Stake Young Men's President in the Brigham City South Stake, and Stake Mission President in the Willard Stake. His most spiritually rewarding calling was as an ordinance worker in the Ogden Temple, where he served until the time of his stroke in 1995. Will was preceded in death by his parents, Bee Wilbur Hedrick and Eva Elizabeth (Glover), and his parents-in-law, William Earl Gordon and Pearl M. (Petersen) Gordon. He is survived by his wife, Erlene, of Smithfield, UT; a daughter, Teresa Hedrick Rogers of Gilbert, AZ; and sons, Gordon Bee (Paulette) Hedrick of South Jordan, UT, and Kirk A. (Michele) Hedrick of Perry, UT; his younger sister, Lois A. (Robert) Riley of Boise, ID; and a younger brother, Norman E. (Mary) Hedrick of Salt Lake City, UT. Will's 12 grandchildren will miss his funny facial expressions, unique sense of humor, and rides on his lawnmower and scooter. Many of their names honor Will's ancestors and his hometown of Ashton: Patrick William, Chelsea Elizabeth, Kimball James, and Mariah Rose Rogers of Gilbert, AZ; Spencer Gordon, Krista Nicole, Adam William, and Brock Ashton Hedrick of South Jordan, UT; and Zachary Kirk, Kassidy Brooke, Bridger Ashton, and Maguire Tate Hedrick of Perry, UT. Will's primary care provider, Mary Orians, FNP, sacrificed countless hours rendering compassionate care for seven years, and became a dear friend. Will's family wishes to express their appreciation to staff of Vista Care Hospice and Sunshine Terrace, who made his departure a peaceful and spiritual experience. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 18 at the Smithfield Sixteeneth Ward, 625 East 600 South, Smithfield. Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 17 at Nelson Funeral Home at 85 South Main Street in Smithfield, or prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Sixteenth Ward chapel. DALLAS ODELL PETERSON ST. GEORGE - Dallas Odell Peterson, 79, died Wednesday, December 15, at his home in St. George, Utah, of cancer, which he had fought three other times since 1972. He was born August 17, 1925, in Oakley Idaho, to Leland and Della Mitton Peterson. He was married to Dorene Meacham on November 21, 1951, in the Logan Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Air Force, rising to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Dallas attended Utah State University and Brigham Young University, graduating with his B.S. and M.S. Degrees. He subsequently attended Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, receiving a Ph.D. in Geology in 1959 with an emphasis in Invertebrate Paleontology. He taught at Chico State College in Chico, California, and at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, where he was chairman of the Geology Department. He moved in 1968 to Madison, Wisconsin, as a University Systems Administrator, retiring in 1992 as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs for the University of Wisconsin System. During his lifetime, Dallas served faithfully in various church callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a missionary in the Great Lakes Mission and eventually as Bishop, High Councilman and Stake Patriarch. He and Dorene served as church service missionaries in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission after their retirement to Marquette, Michigan. Following 12 years in Marquette, they relocated in June of this year to St. George, Utah. Dallas is survived by his wife, Dorene and his son, David Odell Peterson (Yvonne); his mother, Della Peterson of Blackfoot, Idaho; his brother, Wesley Peterson (Joann) of Wellsville, Utah; sisters: Shirley Simpson of Blackfoot, Idaho; Joan Cowley (Jody) of Berthoud, Colorado and Doris Port of Wenatchee, Washington and his six grandchildren: Emily Peterson, Daniel Odell Peterson (Jazmine), Christopher Peterson, Diana Johnson (Tom), Lisa Peterson and Ryan Peterson. RUTH LARAE PHARIS NIELSON BRIGHAM CITY - Ruth LaRae Pharis Nielson, 79, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2004. She was born on August 3, 1925, to Clark Edward and Mabel Norina Caldwel Pharis. She married LaDell J. Nielson on March 25, 1972. LaDell passed away on November 11, 1998. Ruth was reared and educated in Pingree, Idaho. She loved to fish and to go rock hounding. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and funny stories. She enjoyed using her hands to make a variety of crafts. She is survived by her three children: Paula (Ronnie) Roche of Plymouth and RonDell and Terry Nielson both of Garland; her brother, Wesley (Naomi) Pharis of Blackfoot, Idaho; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. VIRGINIA RUTH HEARN Services for Virginia Ruth Hearn, 76, Sulphur, OK, were held at the Vinita Ave Church of Christ in Sulphur on Monday, December 13 at 11 a.m. with Richard Day, Bob Rowley, Ron White and Tom Byrd officiating. Interment was in Rose Lawn Park Cemetery in Palestine, Texas. Born May 11, 1928 in Waco, Texas, she died Friday, December 10 in Sulphur. She married William L. Hearn on November 21, 1947 in Houston, Texas. She grew up in Houston where she graduated from Milby High School. She attended Abilene Christian College in Abilene, Texas for one year, and lived in several areas during the couple's ministry. She had lived 31 years in Utah, the last 10 years in Brigham City, before going to Sulphur one year ago. Her lifetime work was in support of her husband in the ministry. She was a housewife, and a member of the Vinita Ave Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, William, of Sulphur; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Bob Rowley, Edmond, OK; a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Carmen Hearn, San Diego, CA; a sister, Juanice Ward, Buda, TX; two grandsons, Steve and Mike Hearn of Houston, and one great granddaughter, Miranda Hearn of Houston. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Lena and Ralph Moreland, and a brother, Frank M. Sheppard. MELISSA JOI FAIRBANKS GARLAND - Melissa Joi Fairbanks, 24, returned to the loving arms of her Father in Heaven after a valiant battle with Sanfilippo Syndrome. She was born June 29, 1980, in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Dale Irvin and Rosetta Robbins Fairbanks. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Melissa had a great love for the Special Needs Mutual Group. Thanks to all her many friends who gave so much kindness to Melissa during her life here on earth. BOOTHE 1918 - 2004 BRIGHAM CITY - Lewis LaLand Boothe died Thursday, December 16, 2004, in Brigham City, of causes incident to health and age. He was born January 1, 1918, in Honeyville, Utah, to Lewis Nathaniel and Caroline Elizabeth Griffin Boothe. He was known by most of his friends and associates as "Lonnie" and in later life as "Lewis". He married VaLoy Jensen Boothe in 1939 and they were later divorced. He is survived by a son, L. Larry Boothe (Sharon D.), and two daughters, VaLaun T. Schoens (Adrian), Cherie B Mangum; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister (Carmen), and a grandson. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions in athletic callings in the ward and stake. He was an even-tempered man with a wry sense of humor that was always appreciated by those he served. He worked for the Newspaper Agency Corporation and was the distributor of the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune for 47 years in Box Elder County. He also worked for the Wycoff Trucking Line for over 25 years. He started working early in life when he took over the milk hauling route after his father became ill and died in 1939. Work to provide for his family was the center piece of his life. He was a very good athlete and enjoyed sports throughout his life. His work ethic, service to his family, and honesty were hallmark examples to all who came in contact with him. He was a loving father and grandfather. Send condolences to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com ROMA BURT BELEW BRIGHAM CITY - Roma Burt Nelson Belew, 88, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2004, at the Brigham City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 28, 1916, in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Wallace and Mary Nelson Burt. She married Ralph S. Nelson and he preceded her in death. Roma then married Robert S. Belew on June 26, 1976 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Seattle Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on July 23, 1983. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2004. She is survived by one daughter and one son-in-law, Linda Wilson and Eugene Bybee both of Everett, Washington. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marge Bybee. Funeral services are pending, more information available further into the week. R. and Chelsea Haynie of Logan were born December 19, 2004, in Sun Valley, Idaho. Their parents were blessed to bond with them for a very short while. Their little bodies were too fragile and Heavenly Father took them home into His arms on December 21, 2004. They are survived by their parents and grand parents, Bob and Marsha Haynie of Brigham City; Ted and Andrea Davis of Logan; many aunts and uncles, and two special cousins, Carter Davis and Caleb Herbert. We long for the day we'll be able to hold them once more, but for now, as little Caleb would say, "See ya!" A family funeral service was held at Nelson Funeral Home in Logan on December 23. Interment in the Logan Cemetery. JANETTE FREDRICKSON WISE TREMONTON - Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Janette Fredrickson Wise was called home to Heaven to join her adoring father J. Eddis on Monday, December 27, 2004, after a very courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 6, 1956, in Tremonton, Utah, to J. Eddis and Audrey Nish Fredrickson. She attended Bear River High School. She married Mickey McDonald with whom she had two sons, Micah E and Niklaus. They later divorced. She learned many trades and was great with people and a wonderful salesperson. She was currently employed at First General Services in sales. The biggest joy of her life was her two beautiful granddaughters from Niklaus and Jacci, Morgan and Madelyn. Her hobbies were skiing, golfing and entertaining her family and friends. She had a smile that would light up a room. She married the love of her life, Kelly Wise, and through the marriage gained a daughter, Paige; a son-in-law, Bill; a son, Craig, and two granddaughters, Cheyenne and Cali Jane. Janette was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a seminary graduate and served as a counselor in the Young Women's. She is survived by her husband, Kelly of Tremonton; her mother, Audrey Fredrickson of Tremonton; one brother, Michael E. Fredrickson; one sister, Marilyn Batchelor, North Ogden and a number of nieces and nephews of whom she was "The Favorite Aunt". She is preceded in death by her father, J. LOVELAND BRIGHAM CITY Our beloved mother and grandmother was reunited with Mr. America Wednesday, December 22, at the age of 88, in the comfort of the home she loved. Our dear mother was born February 4, 1916, in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of John R. and Ellen Rebecca Harris Evans. She graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Weber College and business college. She married her high school sweetheart, E. Wayne Loveland, on January 27, 1938, in the Salt Lake Temple. She had a lifetime of service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in leadership positions in both ward and stake. She found great joy in her membership in the Civic Improvement Club, Simada, DUP, Book Lore, and Red Hat Society. She, also, served in the Lions Club Auxillary with her husband. She had over 2500 hours of volunteer work at McKay Dee Hospital. She spent 31 years as a bookkeeper at Fife Construction Company in Brigham City. Her greatest pleasures in life were spending time with her children and grandchildren. Much of her time was devoted to making life easier and better for those around her. Her endless caring touched the lives both of those she knew and those she never met. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She is survived by three daughters: Sharon (Gene) Juber of Brigham City; Mary Jane Johnson of South Jordan; Colleen (Alan) Oviatt of West Jordan; niece Marilynn (Dan) Marriott serving as Mission President in South Africa; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her father and mother, brother, Shorland Evans, sister, Blythe Tingey, and loving husband who passed away July 25, 1971. Send condolences to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com CHERRIL HESS NELSON BRIGHAM CITY Cherril Hess Nelson died peacefully Christmas morning with her family present at the home of her granddaughter, who was her generous caregiver. She had a small stroke Christmas Eve and slipped into a coma. She was where she wanted to be at Christmas, with her family. She was born in Plymouth, UT., February 16, 1924, to Clarence Eugene and Norman Loretta Larsen Hess. She was reared in Plymouth and Brigham, graduating from Box Elder High School in 1942. She had a beautiful voice and performed often with her dad. She retired from Hill Air Force Base after being employed there as well as Thiokol, Intermountain Indian School and IRS as a legal secretary and a court reporter. She married Clark (Bud) Nelson Jr. on March 17, 1951. They were sealed in the Logan LDS temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April of 1963, together with their children. She and her husband enjoyed over 25 years together and she spent 25 more years without him. They are together now for eternity. They traveled many places together, often taking their grandchildren along. Bud passed away September 8, 1979. She served in various callings in her ward, her favorite as a Sunday school teacher and primary teacher. She was very involved in National Assocation of Retired Federal Employees which she loved doing. She was relief society president, visiting teacher and served in other callings. She has been known and loved for her infectious laugh and her sense of humor. She was well loved by her family. She made the names "Mom" and "Grammy Elson" very precious. She was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Ann, her husband, and her parents. Surviving are two children, Sheila (Jim) Strong of Willard and Bruce (Patty) Nelson of Perry; grandchildren: Paula and Bernie Poelzl (Brenden and Raegen), Todd and Rachelle Burt (Rylee and Kenadee), Patti and Brad Chadwick (Caleb and Madisen) all of Brigham City, Nate and Lisa Burt (Trekker, Brittni, Riley and Makessa) of Mantua, Nikki and Tim Schaeffer of Bountiful, Derek Nelson of Perry; three step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Wendell and Louise Hess of Brigham City, Daryl Jean Yates of Brigham City, JoAnn and Wray Squires of Mesa, AZ, Elwynn and Cleone Hess of Sandy, Urayna and Russ McCall of Layton and a sister-in-law Bonnie Clements of Twin Falls, Idaho. Send condolences to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com ZONA P. BODILY PERRY - Zona Pilgrim Bodily, 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2004, at her home in Perry. She was born on November 24, 1921, in Smithfield, Utah, a daughter of Thomas Joseph and Sarah Ellen Gittins Pilgrim. Zona married her sweetheart Cecil James Bodily on November 25, 1941, in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2002. Zona served faithfully in many church callings, she especially enjoyed genealogy and extraction work. For several years she worked for Perry Cannery and Cache Valley Cheese to help support her sons serving missions. She loved gardening, reading, puzzles, sewing, and quilting, where she made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren with many quilts to spare. Surviving are eight sons and one daughter: Larry (Gisela) of Ansbach, Germany; Ferrin (Janice) of Pocatello, Idaho; Cless (Karen) of Barstow, California; Dallas of Ogden; Sidney (Marilyn) of Willard; Dick of Brigham City; Marlin (Donalie) of Brigham City; Kelvin (Cindy) of Layton; one daughter, Carma (Kerry) of St. George, Utah; 46 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Pilgrim; sister, Edna Housley; three grandchildren, Nelson Payne, Tammy Coy, and Mark Baird.
