She was born July 4, 1948, in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Merle Reid and Leonard R. Meadows. Lynne graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah, in 1966. She married Michael Ivan Mangum on June 24, 1967, in Brigham City. They lived in Brigham City, Georgetown, Idaho, and Jackson Hole, Wyo., before moving to Richmond. While in Jackson Hole, she was a member of the Jackson Hole Jaycees, the Jackson Cowbells and was involved in 4-H. After their move to Richmond, she continued her involvement in civic activities by teaching sewing and cooking classes, and as an adult leader for the youth bowling league. As a mother, her heart and home was always open, not only to her own family, but to the neighborhood children as well. She is loved dearly and will truly be missed. She is survived by her husband, Michael; four children, Kim Baugh (Victor) of Logan and Leslie, Jody Facer (Andrew) and Dustin, all of Richmond; and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother; two brothers, Jay (Maryann) of Suffolk, Va., and Daren (Terry) of Herriman, Utah; a sister, Karen Christensen (Curtis) of Bear River; and a sister-in-law, Cyndi Johnson Meadows of West Valley, Utah. She was preceded in death by her father; her brother, Mark Meadows; her mother-in-law, May Mangum; and her father-in-law, Ivan Mangum. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7, at the Richmond Stake Center, 135 W. Main. Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 S. Main, Smithfield, and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the church, prior to services. Interment will be in the Richmond City Cemetery. Webb PRESTON, Idaho -- Gertie Johnson Webb, 93, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the Franklin County Nursing Home in Preston, Idaho. She was born June 6, 1911, in Downey, Idaho, the daughter of Carl Johan and Anna Marie Johnsen Johnson. She attended school in Richmond, Utah, and graduated from North Cache High School. Gertie graduated from Utah State Agricultural College in 1932 with a degree in home economics. She married O. Sherwin Webb in the Logan LDS Temple on Sept. 2, 1935. They operated a funeral home in Boise for five years and moved back to Preston in 1946 where she and Sherwin owned and operated a floral and funeral business. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in various ward and stake positions in the YW/MIA, Relief Society and Primary. She directed the Church Education Week program in Preston for several years. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed other homemaking activities. She participated in literary clubs, civic organizations and learned to paint in her later years. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports. She is survived by her four sons, Douglas S. (Sandra) Webb of Preston, Kimber C. (Donna) Webb of Tucson, Ariz., Curtis G. (Kristen) Webb of Elk Ridge, Utah, and Bracken J. (Yvonne) Webb of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. Sherwin Webb; and by her four siblings, Leone Bullen, Margaret Johnson, Carl Johnson and Mildred House. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Feb. 7, in the Whitney 2nd Ward Chapel with Bishop Greg Griffeth conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will be in the Richmond (Utah) Cemetery.
