This is a obituary for Cache County Newpaper: Cache American Aug 20 1937, pg 8 Samuel Stettler, 86, for the past 31 years a resident of Logan, died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Zbinden at 696 Canyon Road, For the past ten years Mr. Stettler has been a temple worker. He was born May 15, 1851, at Bern Switzerland. His parents were Christian and Anna Barbara Mauer Stettler. Surviving children are Rozetta Stettler, Frieda Zbinden, Ernest Stettler, and Mrs. Lena S. Jaggi, Logan; and Albert Stettler, Clearfield; 33 grandchildren and 11 great grand children. Two grandsons are serving as Mormon missionaries in Switzerland. Funeral services will be held in the Eighth ward chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Logan cemetery. Richards mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
