The large numbers of people that assembled is sufficient evidence to prove that she was highly respected. It was reported in our columns about a month ago that Mrs. Benson gave birth to a baby girl and never got well. The doctor says it will take the utmost care to rear the child. Mrs. Benson and her brother were married the same day. Her sister-in-law resembled her in actions towards each other until death separated them. Her sister-in-law died three months before, and since then she has had no desire to live but begged them to take the pillow from under her head and let her join her sister. The grandmother of the child will take it and give it the best of care. Mrs.Benson was born on the Isle of Dogs, England, and was twenty-three years of age.
