About: The Woodside Utah Cemetery sits on a barren hill where the tumbleweeds blow between the grave markers and only ugly dirt and weeds cover the graves. Headstones reveal only the statistics of dead loved ones who each had a living story. Two lone graves at the foot of the hill marked with piles of rocks are supposedly graves of two outlaws who were shot and killed after robbing a bank and not allowed the priviledge of being buried with the good folks. Year established - 1883 Location: 30 miles SW of Wellington along Highway 6, turn N of gas station at Geyser, then W across old highway then through gravel pile to top of hill, then S 1000 feet NOTE: as of 2-2003, The Geysar and gas station has been fenced off - there is a road just north of the fence that takes you to the Gravel Pit - Drive straight through to pit then follow road to the right. (to the Left the road is very rough) the cemetery is fenced off by a chain link fence.
