Services held for Shelly D. Elder on Saturday, JVlay 30th

   Shelly D. Elder, age 38, died May 27, 1998, as a result of a truck train
accident in Nephi, Utah.

  He was born September 16, 1959, in Salt Lake City to Ted and Diane Ogden
Elder. He married Nan Higginson February 24, 1979, in Nephi. Their marriage was
later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

  He worked for Juab County 17 years. Shelly served in many church callings and
currently was serving on the Stake High Counsel and Scout District Commission.
Shelly coached children in many sports.

  He is survived by his wife and four children, Amy, Jeremy, Chel-sey, and Ryan
Elder, all of Nephi; mother, Diane (Bob) Allen; mother-in-law, Florine
Higgin-son; sisters, Alaina (Brent) Lofgran, and Aleath (Kirk) Kirkman; brother,
Shawn (Margie) Elder; step-brothers and sisters, Jackie (Randy) Christensen,
Hazel (Roger) Higginson, Steven Ted (Christy) Elder, and Frank (Carolee) Elder.

  Services were held on Saturday, May 30, 1998, in the Nephi North Stake Center.
Burial in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
