Anderson, 74, passed away December 15, 1997. Born to Oscar Alma Anderson and Lottie Ashby on April 13, 1923 in Delta, Utah. Married Helen Brooks 1946 in the St. George Temple (deceased); 2nd marriage to Marilyn Thomas, October 4, 1984 in Jordan River Temple. Served in World War II, with the US Army, was stationed in New Guinea. Graduated from Idaho State, Pharmacist for 50 years. He was an avid lover of aviation and music. Survived by wife and children, Leslie (Jeffrey) Monson, Salt Lake City; Michele (Gary) Taylor, Arkansas; Brooks (Dixie) Anderson, Salt Lake City; stepchildren, Kent (Linda) Hogan, Karen (Joe) Taylor, Dennis (Sharon) Wolfley, all of West Valley City; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Madge Warner and Elaine Halsey; brothers, Harold, Grant, Paul, Oscar and Scott Anderson. Preceded in death by his parents, and first wife, Helen. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec., 18, 1997, at 11 a.m. at Lakeridge 11th Ward, 7825 West Sharon Drive (3205 South), Magna. Friends and family may call Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, and one hour prior to funeral services at the church on Thursday.
