Deceased was born in Westmoreland, New Hampshire, Sept. 11, 1790; had four of his sons present with him at his death, two from Nevada, one from California, and one residing in Scipio; when his sons came he said he thought they were come to bury him; death seemed to have struck him about two days previous to his sons' arrival.
