In Kanosh City, January 1st, 1879, of dropsy, SARAH ANN ROSS, wife of James Andrew Ross. Deceased was born February 19th, 1838, in Gibson County, Tennessee, baptized at Mount Pisgah, Iowa, when eight years old, and emigrated to Utah in 1850. She was well beloved by all who knew her. She lived and died a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and left a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. She was the daughter of Richard and Dianah Smith, and the youngest of the family.
