Obituary: The Spectrum, St. George, Utah, Friday, 19 Dec 2003: 

Janice B. Johnston

     Richfield -- Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt,
Janice Brunson Johnston, age 76, died December 17, 2003 in Richfield, Utah.
She was born September 18, 1927 in Fillmore, Utah, a daughter of Wells and
Manilla Bingham Brunson. She married Ralph Fred Johnston, January 28, 1945 in
Fillmore, Utah. They were later divorced.

     Janice enjoyed fishing, sewing and cooking. She enjoyed making homemade
rolls and giving them to her friends and family members. She had lived in
Richfield for the past 13 years and had been employed for the Sevier County
School District for several years.

     She is survived by her three children: Pat and Dick Brian of Richfield;
Brent and Jeanene Johnston of Ruth, NV; Cathy Brian of Cedar City; 10
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four sisters: Evelyn Hause of
California; Sharon Labrum of Arizona; Colleen Albrand of Salt Lake City;
Bonnie Sanders of St. George. She was preceded in death by a son, Steve
Johnston.

     Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2003 at 3:00 P.M.
in the Mt. View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah, under the direction of the Springer
Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
