All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ut/utfiles.htm *********************************************************************** he Progress, Friday, December 10, 1954: FUNERAL SERVICE FOR FERN ROBISON TO BE HELD FRIDAY, DEC. 10 Mrs. Fern Ashby Robison, 56, died at her home here at 5:35 p.m., Sunday, December 5, 1954. She had been ill for about six weeks. She was born in Fillmore, Oct. 2, 1898 to Richard T. and Minnie Colegrove Ashby. She married A. Wayne Robison Dec. 20, 1916, in the Salt Lake L D S Temple. She had lived in Fillmore all of her life. Mrs. Robison was very active in the L D S Church, and had served as an officer in most of the Auxilairy organizations. She was a good wife, mother, friend and neighbor, and her presence will be missed by everyone in the community. She is survived by her husband; five sons: W. Ashby, H. Ray and Duane, all of Fillmore; Doyle of Cleveland, Ohio, and Richard, who is with the Army in Germany; two sisters: Mrs. Geneva Speakman and Mrs. Alice Robison, and one brother, R. Eugene Ashby, Fillmore; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m., in the Fillmore First Ward Chapel under direction of A. LaVoy Kimball, counselor to Bishop Ashby Robison. Friends may call at the family home Thursday evening and Friday until time for the service. Burial will be in the Fillmore City cemetery under the direction of Olpin Mortuary.
