All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ut/utfiles.htm *********************************************************************** Obituary: The Salt Lake Tribune, Wednesday, 18 Feb 2004: Robert Edward Adams 1929 ~ 2004 MIDVALE - Robert Edward Adams died February 16, 2004 at Cottonwood Hospital, Murray, Utah after a long courageous battle with asthma. Bob was born March 2, 1929 in Scipio, Utah the sixth child and sixth son of James Justice Adams and Sarah Cynthia Collins Adams. Attended grade school in Scipio and high school in Fillmore. He had a great sense of humor. Bob was a self taught individual, was an avid reader, hunter and liked to carve with wood. He was also a rock hound and loved to hunt arrow heads in the area. He was a very talented musician sang and played the guitar, fiddle, banjo, ukulele and mandolin by ear. At 17 years old joined the navy and served his country during World War II, his dad and mother had six sons in the service at the same time. He attended Barber College and learned to be a cabinet maker. On July 30, 1953 he married Anna Lou Miller in the Logan LDS Temple. Later divorced. Survived by his daughter Sue Ann Adams, son Samuel Jess Adams granddaughter Heather Adams and brother Leo Adams and numerous nieces and nephews. Gravesides Services will be held in the Scipio Cemetery on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. Riverton, Utah.
