All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ut/utfiles.htm *********************************************************************** Obituary: The Salt Lake Tribune, Friday, 23 Jan 2004: Ina Beth Bennett Barnes 7/10/14 ~ 1/21/04 Ina Beth Bennett Barnes, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, age 89, of Draper, Utah, died January 21, 2004. She was born July 10, 1914 in Deseret, Utah to Jerold Stiles and Ava Jackson Bennett. She married Delbert P. Barnes on December 31, 1940. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Arizona Temple. Delbert passed away on February 7, 1991. She graduated from Hinckley High School and the Branch Agricultural College (USU) in Cedar City, Utah. She had a life long love of education and enjoyed reading and learning. Ina was active in the LDS Church. For many years she and her husband served in the Los Angeles Temple as ordinance workers. She held many positions in the church in Young Women and Relief Society. She was a very creative mother and loved cooking, sewing and travel. She is survived by two children, Julie Ann Lee, Orem, Utah, and Dr. Richard B. Barnes, Salt Lake City, Utah. Ina was blessed with eight wonderful grandchildren and three great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Mountain 7th Ward building, 1788 E. Aintree Ave., Draper, UT.
