He was born 5 July, 1923 in Holden, UT to George Matthew and Clara Stephenson Crosland. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Married Helen Jean Olsen 12 Jan. 1948 in the Manti Temple. He was a faithful and active member of the LDS Church. He is survived by Marianne (Roger) Cook; David (Sandra) Crosland; Stephen (Jackie) Crosland; Robert (Phee) Crosland; Marie (Ray) Eads; and Carolyn (Mick) Michie; one brother, Ivan (Helen) Crosland; two sisters, Virginia (Bill) Palmer and Ann (Ken) Whiting. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and one grandson, Antonio. He left a posterity of 41 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be Monday, Sept. 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Moroni Stake Center. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Magleby-Rasmussen Mortuary in Mt. Pleasant and Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment in the Moroni City Cemetery with Military Honors. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on 9/14/2003.
