Obituary: The Salt Lake Tribune, Sunday, 14 Dec 2003:

Elaine Melville Goddard
1914 ~ 2003

     Elaine Goddard passed away peacefully on December 11, 2003.

     She was born in Fillmore, Utah on December 28, 1914 to David Alexander
and Alice Frampton Melville. She was the last living grandchild of Alexander
and Jane Ann Dutson Melville, early settlers of Fillmore.

     She married Roy Goddard, later divorced.

     She is survived by her four children, Shirley (Vern) Brunson, Bill
(Joyce) Goddard, Jim (Connie) Goddard, Ralph (Linda) Goddard, 19
grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held Monday Dec. 15, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at the
Fillmore 2nd Ward. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at
the Olpin Southern Utah Mortuary in Fillmore and Monday morning from 10:00 to
10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment at the Fillmore
Cemetery.
