Wood. Later moved to Layton, where she graduated from Davis High School in 1945. Married Alfred Edward Inselsberger on October 13, 1945. Retired from Utah State Department of Vital Statistics. Made her home in Kearns for 47 years. Resided the last four years at the Wellington Senior Residence in Salt Lake City. Passed away January 17, 2004 in the arms of her daughters. Survived by two daughters: Jean (Dan) Park, Kathy (Bill) West, and special nephew, Michael (Connie) Inselsberger; four granddaughters, one great-grandson, two great-grand-daughters; one sister; three brothers; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, parents, one sister, and two brothers. Gwen's family will always remember her wonderful sense of humor and how she used that humor to get through the tough times even at the end. The family wishes to thank the skilled and compassionate staffs at Cottonwood Hospital, Highland Care, Wellington Senior Residence, and a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Care Source Hospice for helping us through these difficult days. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
