Jacobson 1916 ~ 2003 OAK CITY - Enid Nielson Jacobson, 87, passed away November 7, 2003, Oak City. Born January 25, 1916, Oak City, to Clarence and Dainy Dora Sheriff Nielson. Married Maiben Ole Jacobson, September 21, 1939, Manti Temple. Attended elementary school, Oak City; high school, Delta High; and Excellsis Beauty School, Salt Lake City. After marriage, lived in Dunbar, moved to Bloom for two years, then Brigham City for five years. Moved back to Oak City to raise family. Moved to Leeds 1985-1998, then returned to Oak City. Worked as Beauty operator in Vernal, Delta, and Oak City area. Spent life raising children and working on family farm. Active in Relief Society and Primary of LDS Church. Survived by husband, Maiben Ole Jacobson, Oak City; children, Kyle "Jake" Jacobson (Annette), Kaysville, Jewel Mikesell (Andy), Kayenta, AZ, LaRee Lister, St. George, Joyce Mace (Jim), Fredonia, AZ, Peter Jacobson (Joni), Delta; brothers and sisters, Wayne Nielson, Oak City, Vern Nielson, Oak City, Phyllis Anderson (Elvon), Oak City, Thelma Howes, Roy, Fred Nielson (Arlene), Oak City, Dorothy Giles, Fresno, CA, Monte Nielson (Bonnie), Oak City; brother-in-law, Ralph Crafts, Hinckley; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grand-children. Preceded in death by sons, Dennis Jacobson, Dee Jacobson; and sister, Blanche Crafts. Funeral Mon. Nov 10, 2003, 11 a.m. Oak City Church.
