Moody Gifted Mother and Grandmother DESERET - Beth Pewtress Moody, 81, passed away June 28, 2003 in Delta. Born March 12, 1922 in Fillmore to Harley Albert and Isabell Beckwith Pewtress. Married George Keith Moody Sept 10, 1938, Fillmore. He died Nov 25, 2000. Lifelong Millard County resident. Worked with husband farming. Contract mail route driver many years. Employed in several Delta businesses. Retired from D. Stevens 1984. Made beautiful handwork items including over 100 quilts. Enjoyed her children very much. Survived by children, Larry (Suzy) Moody, Delta, Venice (Ken) Bishop, Delta, Dennis (Joyce) Moody, Delta, Kathy (Kelvin) Shortt, Cedar City; brother, Vance Pewtress, Ogden; 21 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson. Preceded in death by sisters, May Cahoon, Ruth Maero; and brother, George Pewtress. Graveside services Mon. June 30, 2003, 11 a.m. Deseret Cemetery. Directors, Nickle Mortuary.
