Pack 10/5/10 ~ 1/25/04 Paul C. Pack, 93, of Pleasant Grove passed away Sunday morning, January 25, 2004 at home in Orem. He was born October 5, 1910 in Hinckley, Utah to Clarence W. and Estelle Mikesell Pack. He married Gail Peet on December 20, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Gail passed away in May 1992. Paul grew up in Hinckley and Manila. He attended school in Manila and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He received a B.S. in French and Political Science from the University of Utah. Gail and Paul raised their children in Lindon and various locations due to his occupation. Paul worked as a building supervisor for the LDS Church from 1960-1966. He supervised the construction of six LDS chapels: Glenwood Springs, CO; Manassa, CO; Colorado Springs, CO; and three in El Paso, TX. Paul and Gail served in the Provo Temple. After Gail's passing, Paul continued to serve in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos Temples until the time of his death. He will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and neighbors. He is survived by six children: Jeannine (Johnny) Iverson, American Fork; Patricia Sykes, Orem; Leon (Sheila) Pack, Denver; Anita (Glade) Dursteler, Reno; Allen (Vilma) Pack, McKinney, TX; and Daniel (Marcia) Pack, Leamington, UT; 29 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and two sisters: Rae Murphy, Roswell, GA; and Afton Bossa, Valrico, FL. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Timpanogos Sixth Ward Chapel, 425 E. 500 N., Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S. 300 E., Pleasant Grove and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to services.
