Born August 12, 1930, Kanosh Indian Reservation to Joseph and Emily Sobquint Pikyavit. He married Mildred Anita George, later divorced. He is survived by his children; Bennjamin, Benedict, Marguerite, Maylon, Marlene, Geri, Gari, Melvin and Yolanda; brothers and sisters, Earl, Louise, Shirley, Ralph, Phil, Madelan, Frank, Vida (Ohio), and Floraine. He is preceded in death by his children, Divina, Constance, Dwayne and McKay Ladd; parents. McKay was a veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He contributed much of his time by serving in many capacities for the Paiute people. Traditional service will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004 - half night sing. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004 - all night sing at the Kanosh Reservation. Church services, Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Kanosh LDS Ward. Viewing, 9:00 to 10:45, prior to the funeral.
