He was born September 13, 1923 in Kanosh, Utah to George T. and Rachel LaFevre Prows. He married his sweetheart Lucille Alice Warby on May 22, 1943 in Beaver, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Jean loved hunting, fishing and gardening. But most of all he loved his family and in turn they loved him. Jean is survived by his wife, children, Lynnea "Lynn"(Jim) Beacht, Lorraine (Curtis) Haviland, Doug (Janet) Prows, Penny Prows, Kayleen Fellows, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sisters, Alta Shumway, Mildred Harding, Zelda Matthews, Ella Mae Miller, brothers, Raymon, Wendell Prows. Preceded in death by son, Craig W. Prows, four brothers, one sister. Services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., January 6, 2004 at the Hunter 9th Ward, 3450 South 6400 West. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. January 5, 2004 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna and 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
