Russell 1937 ~ 2003 ELMO, UT- Richard LaMar Russell, age 66, passed away suddenly August 17, 2003 in Provo. Born January 6, 1937 in Fillmore, Utah to William G. and Maurine Christensen Russell. Member of the LDS Church. Resident of Elmo since 1978, where he was a former employee of Soldier Creek Coal Company for many years. At the time of his death he was presently employed with Maca Supply in Springville. Richard's greatest enjoyment was his family, especially his grandchildren. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Donna Russell, Elmo; mother, Maurine Russell, Springville; two daughters, Cheryl (Martin) Vuksinick, West Valley; Shelly Prince, Sandy; two brothers, Ellis (Janet) Russell, Riverton; Jay (Nancy) Russell, West Valley; best friend, Merrill (Kathy) Chatwin, Genola; four loving grandchildren, Marty and Lessa Vuksinick, Zachery and Brookelyn Prince. Preceded in death by his father, sister, Colleen Quintana; brother, Ivan Russell. Funeral service, Thursday, August 21, 2003, 1 p.m. Elmo LDS Ward Chapel. Family will be at the church Thursday one hour prior to service. Friends are welcome at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price daily. Interment; Elmo City Cemetery.
