Skeem Families Are Forever On September 27th, 2003 our wonderful husband, brother, son, father and friend was called home into the loving arms of his Father in Heaven. Guy was born July 13, 1958 in Delta, Utah to Calvin C. Skeem and Evelyn Bliss Skeem. He moved with his family to Salt Lake City, April 1960. He attended grade school in Salt Lake City and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He attended Utah Tech and graduated with a degree in Electronics. He was a good friend to all he came in contact with, giving of his time and means to help others. He married LaVon Welch, June 14, 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple, where they were sealed for time and eternity. They are the parents of three children, Ananda, Brian and Jeffrey, all of Taylorsville. Guy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served as Ward Clerk, Primary teacher and home teacher. He was currently employed by IHC HomeCare in Salt Lake City as a pharmacy technician, where he had many true and loyal coworkers. He will be missed by all who knew him. We love you Guy. Survived by his wife of 23 years; brother, Cody (Robyn) Skeem of Taylorsville; sister, Shauna (Paul) Smith of Orem; Holly (Larry) Lamoreaux of West Jordan, UT; parents, Calvin and Evelyn Skeem of Midvale, UT. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 1st, 11:00 a.m. at Bennion Heights 5th Ward, 5775 S. 2700 W. Friends and family may call at a viewing Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road, and one hour prior to services at the church.
