She was born September 29, 1937 in Oak City, Utah to Mervyn Jay Alldredge and Bernice Roper and graduated from Delta High School. She married Kent Rulon Staley on August 9, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. On February 14, 2004 her dreams and plans of retirement were interrupted by a battle with breast cancer, however, she was able to return to her sweetheart on Valentine's Day. She joined in a 30 year career in hairstyling and barbering with her husband, Kent Rulon Staley who preceded her in death. She enjoyed the company of many customers, friends and golf buddies. She is survived by her children: Marty Rae Shankula; Sharleen Craig (Steve) and Travis Rulon Staley (Paulette). She also enjoyed six grandchildren Stephanie, Daniel, Parker, Jordan, Logan and Coleman. She would be honored to have donations made to Huntsman Cancer Center (581-6365) in her name. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. at the Grandview 2nd Ward, 2930 South 2000 East. Friends may call on Monday, February 16th from 6-8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, and one hour prior to services at the church.
