She was born Jan. 27, 1910 in Meadow, Utah, the 13th of 14 children to Daniel Brockbank and Susan Dearden Bushnell, of which she was the last surviving child. She married Blake Stephenson April 4, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 2, 1988. They had four children: LoReta S. (Eliot Ben, deceased) Sorenson of Pleasant Grove; Kay, deceased; Dale Blake (Diane) Stephenson of Provo; and Rella S. (Fred G) Nelson of Centerville. She has 26 grandchildren (one deceased) and 55 great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by three sister-in-laws and one brother-in-law. She has enjoyed books, quilting, temple work, writing histories, doing genealogy, baking and sewing. She has worked in all of the organizations of the LDS Church. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Kirk Anderson and staff, physical therapist, Connie Robinson, visiting teachers, friends, and neighbors, and Comfort Care Hospice for their services, care and concern these past few years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., in the Pioneer First Ward Chapel, 376 North 700 West, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Friday 6-8 p.m., or Saturday morning, at the Ward Chapel, 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
