He was born March 17, 1919 in Holden, UT to Benjamin Jasper and Lorena Johnson Stephenson. He married Faye Tatlock, January 26, 1946. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, December 2, 1972. Wesley is survived by his children; Robert Lee (Cathy) of Holden, UT; Gary Neil (Lois) of Delta, UT; Gayle Lynn (Michael) Wilcox of Kent, WA; Duane Allen of Holden, UT; brother, Wilbur Stephenson of Spanish Fork, UT; sisters, Naomi Wanlass of Monroe, UT; LaRue Brockbank and Patricia Davies both of Fillmore, UT; and Carole Lawrence of Bountiful, UT. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye; grandchildren, Chris Stephenson and Morgan Wilcox; sisters, Myrth Johnson, Fern Dastrup, Esther Evans and Helma Staples; brothers, Glen, Stanley and Willis. Wesley served with the Army Air Corp during World War II. He served with the Holden Volunteer Fire Department and Town Board. Wesley worked for the Millard County Road Department for 32 years. He served in the church as Scout Master, Elders Quorum President and in the Fillmore Stake Young Men's Presidency. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. in the Holden LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will be in the Holden Cemetery with full Military Honors. Arrangements under the direction of Olpin Southern Utah Mortuary.
