Vance 1913 ~ 2003 CENTRAL VALLEY, UT - Mabel Martin Vance, 90, passed away in her sleep at the Orem Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Friday, August 22, 2003. She was born Jan 12, 1913 in Scipio, UT the daughter of Mark Truman and Lovisa Thompson Martin. She spent her childhood in Scipio and Mesa, AZ. She was active in the LDS Church all her life; serving faithfully in many callings in the Primary, Sunday School, Young Womens and Relief Society organizations. She lived a long and fruitful life of service to her family, friends and the LDS Church. Mabel married Osborne Monte Vance, July 27, 1933 in Pheonix, AZ; the marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa, Arizona, Temple. He preceded her in death, August 27, 1966. She is survived by children, Carolyn (Dick) Cropper, Annette (Bruce) Mitchell, Monte (Toni) Vance, Linda (Mark) Dickerson; 17 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Stanley (Vernell) Martin, (twin) Keith (Lois) Martin. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Rodney, Morris, Walter, (twin) Kent Martin; sisters, Florence Eskland, Evelyn Ivie. Services will be Wed. Aug 27, 2003, 12 noon Central LDS Ward Chapel, Annabella, UT. Friends may call at the chapel, Annabella, Wed. 10-11:30 a.m. Burial, Scipio Cemetery, 3:30 p.m. Directors, Neal S.
