He was born April 30, 1928 in Fillmore, Utah to Iris Milo and Myrtle Cottam Warner. He married Edith M. Black on Nov 3, 1979. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Maloye worked for Associated Foods and retired after 29 years of employment. He loved to tell stories and go fishing. He is survived by his wife; children, Shirley (Craig) Erickson, Richard, Kathy (Dick) Wilson, Michael (Kellie), Marlene (Ronald) Jensen, Robert (Linda), Terry (Alan) Birn; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ramona Miller, Mary Worrell and Nell Korbis. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Elmo and sister, Wilma Miller. Funeral services will be held Tues., Sept 2, 12 p.m. at the Crescent 16th Ward, 275 East 10600 South. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Lake Hills Cemetery. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on 8/31/2003.
