Lon Frank Wood
Will Be Missed

     Lon Frank Wood passed away December 25, 2003 in Delta, Utah.

     Lon was born February 1, 1912 in Delta to William Frank Wood and Lillies
E. Johnson.

     He married Lucile Christofferson July 18, 1934. The marriage was later
solemnized in the Manti Temple. She died December 23, 1999.

     He loved his family and friends. Lon loved his work as a ranch foreman
and state road worker. He loved his dogs and horses. He was an active and
honorary fireman for 50 years.

     He is survived by sons, Roy Lon (Pauline) Delta, Dale F. (Shirley),
Taylorsville; daughters, Carol (Don) Gavin, Bonnie (Robert) Hill, Nadene
Bleazard, from the Delta area; a sister, Edith Anderson, Delta; 13
grand-children; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

     Lon was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years; and his
brothers, Mark, Wells Willard, Reed, and Rex.

     Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2003 at 11 a.m. in the
Delta Utah Stake Center, 72 North Center in Delta. Friends may call at the
Nickle Mortuary Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. and at the church Monday
9:30-10:40 a.m. Burial will be in the Delta Cemetery. Services are under the
direction of Nickle Mortuary.
