Obituary: The Salt Lake Tribune, Wednesday, 8 Oct 2003:

J. Leslie Wright
1906 ~ 2003

     J. Leslie Wright, age 96, of Provo, Utah, passed away in Santaquin,
October 4, 2003.

     He was born in Hinckley, Utah on November 11, 1906 to John E. and Mary
Jane Spendlove Wright.

     He married Thola Orissa Miner on August 28, 1929 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She preceded him in death on December 31, 1978.

     Les is survived by three daughters and one son: Rae (Calvin) Baxter,
Springville, UT; Pat (Phillip) Wightman, Rexburg, ID; Jayne (Michael) Neeley,
Salt Lake City, UT; and Joel M. (Cindy) Wright of Santaquin, UT; 24
grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

     He was preceded in death by one son, Jack L. Wright, one daughter, Joan,
and his wife, Thola.

     Special thanks to Latter Days Assisted Living of Santaquin for their
tender care.  

     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2003 at 11:00 am at
Walker Mortuary, 85 E. 300 S., Provo, Utah. Friends may call one hour prior to
the service. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
