Aphosian Catharine White Aposhian, 78, passed away Aug. 11, 1983, in Salt Lake City. Born May 6, 1905, Salt Lake City to John William and Hannah Harston White. Married George Zadik Aphosian, Oct. 6, 1926, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member, Kenwood 1st LDS Ward. She and her husband presided over the Central Atlantic States Mission from 1959-1963, she being in charge of the auxiliary organizations in the mission. Accomplished organist. Survivors: husband; three sons, daughter, George Z., Jr., Richard W., Lawrence B., Mrs. Glade (Lois) Bigler, all Salt Lake City; 19 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; brother, two sisters, Owen K. White, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Aden (Alice) Stay, Draper; Viola Hand, California; preceded in death by a daughter, Jean in 1927. Funeral services Monday, Aug 15, 12 noon, Kenwood 1st Ward, 3080 So. 1765 East.
