Aposhian Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, George Zadik Aposhian, age 90, passed away February 7, 1995, in Salt Lake City George was born January 17, 1905, in Aintab Turkey, the son of Zadik Moses and Khatune Daghlian Aposhian. He married Catharine White on October 6, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on August 11, 1983. He married Donna Parker on April 28, 1984 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. George was active member of the LDS Church where he served faithfully in the High Council of East Mill Creek Stake, Bishop Kenwood Ward, Stake President of Wilford STake, President of the Central Atlantic States Mission, General Church Priesthood COmmittee, Sealer for 27 years in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. President and charter member of the Sugarhouse Lions club, members Sons of the Utah Pioneers Sugar House Chapter. Founder of Aposhian Garage in January of 1928. Survivors include his wife Donna, of Salt Lake City, three sons and one daughter, George Z. (wife Julie), Lois A. (husband Glade) Bigler, Richard W. (Nancy), Lawrence B. (wife Tamra), all Salt Lake; Step-children, Philip (wife Jean) Parker, Bountiful, Robert Parker, Claremont, Calif., Linda (husband Boyd) Young, Salt Lake: 30 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Magdiel, Rosella Pepper, both Salt Lake. Preceded in death by his daughter, Jean; great-grandchild, Abraham Moffat, daughter-in-law, Leilani M. Aposhian; two brothers, Jim and Joe; sisters, Freida, Elsie, Venus. We love you and we'll miss you. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 11, 1995, 12 noon, at the Wilford Stake Center, 1765 East 3080 South, with Bishop Vernie Ferrin officiating. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8:30 pm, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the services.
