Plowgian Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Robert Aram Plowgian passed away at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah June 3, 1988. Born April 4, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Aram and Elsie Aposhian Plowgian. Married Katheryn Westbrook, June 22, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple. Worked in the automobile repair business for 45 years. He operated his own business until retiring in 1985. He was an Eagle Scout and later was awarded the Silver beaver. Had a great love for the youth and the outdoors. Served in many church capacities including Elders Quorum President, Sunday School President, Stake Young Men's President, Stake High Council. Served in three bishoprics and for the past five years as the Bishop of the Kennwood 1st Ward. He felt that honoestly was a mark of a man's character. He was loved greatly and will be missed by all who associated with him. Survived by wife, Katheryn, son, Larry Robert Plowgian and wife, Nancy, daughter, Joan Holt; seven grandchildren, Leslie, Robert, Jeffrey, Shannon, Kirstin, Brian, Travis, four sisters, Mrs. Jack (Mourine) Scott, Mrs. Kenneth (Helen Hansen, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Borg; Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) Hendry, both San Diego, California. Funeral services will be Monday, June 6, 2:00 p.m. in the Kenwood 1st Ward, 3080 South 1765 East with Bishop Joseph Anderson officiating. Friends may callSunday 5-7 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive or at the church Monday, 12:45 - 1:45 p.m. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
