Barney, Victoria "Vicki"
Victoria "Vicki "Barney 1934 ~ 2004  CENTRAL VALLEY, UT   Victoria Nadine
"Vicki" Biggs Carpenter, Draper, Barney, 70, of Central Valley, Utah passed
awayDecember 10, 2004 in Richfield, Utah. She was born December 3, 1934 in
Forsyth, Missouri to William Fred and Idelle Marie Collier Biggs. Vickie
married Drewey O. Carpenter July 4, 1953; they later divorced. She married
Leon K. Draper August 2, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death
December 2, 1983. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. She
married James Duane Barney July 23, 1985 in the Manti Temple. Vickie has been
involved with education all of her professional life. She has worked as a Head
Start Teacher in California. She was a teacher's aid in Richfield and taught
at Monroe Elementary for 20 years. She earned her masters degree in education
from SUU. She is survived by her husband, Duane of Central Valley; children,
Adele Marie Montgomery of Placerville, CA, Druanne Olene (Gene) Earll of
Havre, MT, Cindy Kaye (Scott) Robinson of Salina, Gary (Brenda) Barney and Rex
(Mickie) Barney both of Central Valley, Dorothy (Mac) Sudweeks of Monroe,
Brenda (Bill) Roof, and Randy (Margaret) Draper, both of Lancaster, CA, Scott
(Angie) Draper of SLC; 32 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother,
Ronald Biggs of Woodland, WA; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in
death by her parents; brothers, Charles (Shirley Mae) Biggs, Hubert Biggs,
August Biggs Jr. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at
11 a.m. in the Central LDS Ward Chapel in Annabella, Utah. Friends may call at
the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the
Central Ward Chapel in Annabella Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be

Clark, Nathan Allen
Nathan Allen Clark 1980 ~ 2004  Nathan Allen Clark was born Feb. 9, 1980 and
died December 10, 2004 in an automobile accident. Nathan grew up in Bountiful
with his parents, Grenn and Kathleen; and his five siblings. Nathan graduated
from Woods Cross High School and Seminary. He served an honorable mission for
the LDS church in Tacoma Washington. He attended UVSC and was employed by PMG
as a successful internet coach. Nathan was sealed for eternity to the love of
his life, Kimberly S. Olvera Clark, August 7, 2004 in the Portland Oregon
Temple. Nathan was an avid snowboarder, and enjoyed making others laugh.
Nathan could amuse anyone with his uncanny ability to quote lines from just
about any movie he had seen. Nathan was most happy being surrounded by his
wife, family, and friends. They all meant the world to him. Nathan got along
with everyone he met and touched the lives of many. Nathan was devout in his
faith and had a strong desire to do what is right. His concern for family and
friends was always apparent. He is survived by his wife, Kim; his parents,
Grenn and Kathleen; brothers, Sean, Travis, and Spencer; and sisters, Jennifer
and Andrea. Nathan is a greatly loved husband, son, uncle, and brother. He
will be deeply missed until we meet on the other side as an eternal family.
Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday, December 15, 11 a.m. at the Val
Verda 4th Ward chapel at 2633 S. 50 W., Bountiful, UT. Viewing for family and
friends will be held Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Russon Brothers Funeral
Home, 295 N. Main St, Bountiful, UT. There will also be a short viewing one
hour preceding the funeral at the chapel.

Dixon, Kathleen Larsen
Kathleen Larsen Dixon 1946 ~ 2004  Kathleen Larsen Dixon , a wonderful wife,
mother, and grandmother passed away Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the age of
58, following a short illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. Kathy
was born September 8, 1946 to Val Deon and Della Evelyn Madsen Larsen. She
graduated from Tooele High School and Excelces Beauty College. She married her
first love, T. Edward Dixon, June 14, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. Kathy
enjoyed life and felt her greatest accomplishment was her family. She taught
them to work hard and loved spending time with them camping, boating, and
cooking for them her special meals. She did hair for over 40 years and made
people feel beautiful inside and out. She was a member of the LDS Church and
had an unwavering testimony of the Savior and shared it often. She was devoted
to temple work and served in many callings. She especially loved her five year
old Primary class. Life without her will "never be the same." Survived by her
husband of 41 years; children, Darrin (Tammy) Dixon, Lisa (Darren) McGrath,
Wade (Karen) Dixon, Shannon Smith, Jason (Ruth) Dixon, Celena (Chad) Collotzi;
14 grandchildren (expecting#15 in February); and a dear brother, Mike (Rhonda)
Larsen. Preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held
Wed-nesday, December 15, 2004, 11 a.m. at the Welby 4th Ward, 9376 S. 4000 W.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 13, from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral
Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at church 10-10:40 a.m. Interment,
Redwood Memorial Estates. "We love you, Mom, and you will be greatly missed!"

Jensen, Mary Louise Wheatley
Mary Louise Wheatley Jensen "Our Beautiful Angel"  Our beloved Mary Lou
peacefully returned to her Father in Heaven Dec. 10, 2004. We know her sweet
mother, Florence Wheatley Visser, and her adoring daughter, Julie Jensen
Sanders, greeted her with open arms. Mary Lou was born May 10, 1923 in Salt
Lake City, UT to Wilfrid and Florence Wheatley. She married her best friend
and sweetheart, Victor D. Jensen, Jan. 15, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. They
have lived in their home in East Millcreek, where they raised their beloved
children, for more than 45 years. She lived a life of example to her family
and friends. As a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served diligently and testified faithfully. Everywhere she went,
store employees knew her by name because of her kindness to them. She
constantly remembered everyone with phone calls, visits, cards, and little
surprises. She truly made each person in her life feel like the most
important. Her home was a welcoming haven for her family. She loved all the
holidays and never passed up a chance to spoil her grandchildren. Despite many
years of illness, she remained positive and upbeat, because of her courage and
determination. In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law,
and grandma, she was and will continue to be our support, our friend, and our
angel. We will miss her with all of our hearts and we look forward to the day
when we will see her again. Mary Lou is survived by her darling, Vic; and
their children, Steve and Vicki Jensen, Craig and Jody Jensen, Karen and David
Rigby, and Roger Sanders. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren,
Heather, Aaron and Victoria, Lisa, Nicole, and Ryan, Adam, Danielle, Brad,
Ryan, and Michael. She was so happy to be a great-grandmother to Ethan, Grace,
and Kaitlyn. She is also survived by many dear sisters, brothers, in-laws,
cousins, and nieces and nephews. Mary Lou was blessed with a supportive
neighborhood and many lifelong friends. In addition to her parents and
daughter, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joan; and brother, Wilfrid.
A special thanks to the kind and professional care Mary Lou has received.
Funeral services for Mary Lou will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2004, 11 a.m.
at the East Mill Creek 2nd Ward, 3750 South Hillside Lane (2600 East). Friends

6:30-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning at the chapel from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to

Krogue, Philip Emmett
Philip Emmett Krogue 1944 ~ 2004  BOUNTIFUL - Philip Emmett Krogue, beloved
husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend passed away Dec 10, 2004 of a
heart attack. He was beloved by all fortunate to know him. He was born
November 23, 1944 in Salt Lake City to Alice and Emerson Krogue. He graduated
from the University of Utah in 1968. From 1966-67 Phil served an LDS mission
to West Germany. Returning to the University of Utah graduate school, he was
soon inducted into the military and entered the officer training program. Phil
was assigned for duty to Kassel, Germany--a city where he had served as a
missionary and was now the place where he was to meet his wife to be, Inge.
From 1988-1993, Phil was assigned to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and
retired with the rank of Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army. Upon retirement he
began work for the LDS Church Security Department and thereafter, as a realtor
of Coldwell Banker. Philip was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings, including branch president
in Heidelgberg, Germany. Phil enjoyed reading, working on cars, playing golf,
and traveling. His favorite time was spent with his family. He will be greatly
missed. Survived by his wife of 29 years; daughter, Michelle Dalton (Kelly);
brother, David Krogue (Sheila); sister; Karolyn Frenette (Don). Funeral
services will be held Wednesday December 15, 2004 at the Canyon Park LDS Ward.

Lerew II, Curtin Abraham
Curtin A. Lerew II 1925 ~ 2004  Curtin Abraham Lerew II , 79, passed away
December 9, 2004 in St. George, Utah. He was born December 2, 1925 in York, PA
to Curtin A. and Bessie Holahan. He married Alice E. Harding August 31, 1946
in State College, PA; she preceded him in death August 27, 1990. Curtin served
in the US Navy during World War II. He retired from Kennecott Copper after
many years, and taught classes at the Trade Tech (currently, Salt Lake
Community College). Survived by his daughter, Carla Am-brose; sons, Curtin A.
(Carol) Lerew III, and Patrick Lerew; six grand-children; and seven
great-grandchil-dren. Preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers, and
sisters.Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at
Valley View Memorial Park, 8525 West 2700 South.

Lloyd, Robert Flynn
Robert Flynn Lloyd 8/8/37 ~ 12/9/04  Robert Flynn Lloyd , age 67, passed away
December 9, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born August 8, 1937 in Salt
Lake City to Douglas Price Lloyd and Mabel Anora Flynn Lloyd. He graduated
from East High School and the University of Utah in Engineering. He married
Ruthann Stanley January 20, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the First Baptist
Church. He was an electrical engineer for Utah Power and Light for 30 years.
He was active at Holladay Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruthann
S. Lloyd; son, Brooks Lloyd; daughter, Patricia Ann (Lloyd) Lingenfelter;
son-in-law, Joel Lingenfelter; and two grandchildren, Grace and Jacob
Lingenfelter. Funeral service will be Wednesday December 15, 2004 at Wasatch
Lawn Memorial Chapel, 12 noon. Viewing will be held from 10:45-11:45 a.m.
prior to the service.

Muir, Charlie McNaull
Charlie McNaull Muir 1953 ~ 2004 Our beloved Charlie passed away Thursday,
December 9, 2004 fromcancer while home,surrounded by family, friends and his
wife Linda. Charlie was born in Scotland and immigrated to America with his
childhood sweetheart, Linda McLaughlin.  Survived by his wife Linda, one son
Charlie Jr., three beautiful daughters; Adelle, Shauna and Shayla, mother;
Miriam Muir, grandchildren; Kaylea, Angelina, Domonyc, Gaberiel, Zeki and one
wee one on the way, four brothers; Jerry, David, Tommy and Harry, three
sisters; Helen, Maureen and Jeannie.  Charlie loved everyone he met. You could
find Charlie talking to the richest of the rich, the poorest of the poor, and
the weakest of the weak. Charlie saw no one above him or below him. He should
have been knighted for his lifetime achievement as a person who gave
everything of himself and asked only for a smile in return. Charlie loved
soccer, he scrimmaged with professional teams in Scotland and America; his
favorite Scottish team was the Glasgow Rangers. Charlie has five brothers and
four sisters. He is the youngest of his five brothers. Our hearts are broken
without you, Charlie, but to have had you in our lives and hearts we are so so
thankful; you are a son, husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend.

Myers, Donna Johnson Fannin
Donna Johnson Fannin Myers 1923 ~ 2004  Donna Johnson Fannin Myers, 81,
beloved by her family and friends, passed away December 11, 2004. She was born
January 9, 1923 in Ovid, Idaho. She was a devoted mother and compassionate
friend. Donna was married to Paul Myers (deceased). She had a previous
marriage to William Milo Fannin (deceased). Much of Donna's working career she
served as a case manager for the Utah State Social Services. Survivors: sons
and daughters and their spouses, Michael J. and Carrie Fannin, Jeffrey L. and
Trish Fannin, Mary Dawn and Ken Wade, Gail Bradley and Ken, Pauline Slack and
Russ, Sharon Childs; 10 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Milene Fannin in 1992 and by a son-in-law
Marvin Childs.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2004, 11
a.m. at the Park Ward, 1050 E. Galena Drive (9820 So.), Sandy, Utah. Friends
may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Midvale Monday from 6-8 p.m. or at
the church Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.

Nelden, Larry
Larry Nelden 1938 ~ 2004  Lawrence Charles Nelden Jr. (Larry) died peacefully,
surrounded by his family, December 11, 2004. Born January 28, 1938 in SLC to
Maxine Papworth and Lawrence C. Nelden. Attended West High and the University
of Utah. Active at one time in the UT National Guard. Married Linda Evans
February 15, 1968. They had two kids and enjoyed a great life together for
nearly 37 years. Larry was a retailer extraordinare. He started Nelden's
Sports Den in Foothill Village with his father, where he developed the concept
of a sidewalk sale and served as president of the Foothill Village Merchants
Assoc. He later started the Hickory Farms franchise in Utah and Idaho, and
pioneered the holiday kiosk. Because of the "Big Cheese" we all know it's
Christmas when the Beef Stick samples come out in malls across the country. He
was past chairman of the Hickory Farms National Store Committee for 20 years
and an active Hickory Farms operator for 27 years. He was also past president
of the Trolley Square Merchants Assoc. and ZCMI Merchants Association. He
loved being involved and served as a past president and board member of the
Hidden Valley Country Club and the Park Ave. Condo Assoc. Larry loved people
and the outdoors. When he wasn't playing golf at Hidden Valley, skiing at Park
City, or boating on Lake Powell, he was traveling with friends and family. He
was always ready for a hot card game. Survived by his wife, Linda; children,
Laura Kvinge (Marius) and Charlie Nelden; mother, Maxine Schutte; and sister,
Diane Barton. His granddaughters, Parker and Simone, were the sparkle in his
eye. We know Larry is now a happy scratch golfer, enjoying the sunshine,
sipping his Diet Coke, chewing on a Nicorette. We love and will dearly miss
him. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn
Mortuary (2350 East 1300 South). A memorial service will be held Wed-nesday 12
noon at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel (1950 East 10600 South).

Williams, Mildred Johnson
Mildred Johnson Williams 1914 ~ 2004  MORGAN - Mildred Johnson Williams, 90,
passed away December 11, 2004 in West Haven, Utah. She was born in Driggs,
Teton County, Idaho April 4, 1914 the daughter of John James and Edith Carruth
Johnson. Mildred resided in Driggs and attended grade school. Her family
returned to Utah in 1927 and resided in Coalville for two years, then moved to
Morgan in 1929 where she has since made her home. She graduated from Morgan
High School and LDS Seminary in 1932 and attended Brigham Young University. On
May 1, 1939 she married Joseph West Williams in Morgan. He died July 30, 1985.
She was employed in 1932 for the Morgan County News and learned typesetting,
layout, and linotype. In 1934 she became employed at J. Williams & Sons Co.
She was a member of the Morgan Third Ward and served in the Primary, Sunday
School, as organist, and the M.I.A. She was known for her ability to "Make a
house a home." She had a deep and abiding faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. She was an active member and officer of the Utah Retail Grocers and
Auxiliary. She was a charter member of Fine Arts Study Group, which observed
their 50th anniversary in 1992. She served in every official capacity and was
very active in the publication of "Mountains Conquered" published by the club
in 1959. Her interests were her family, sewing, knitting, and hand embroidery.
All the family has many mementos of her work. She loved the out of doors,
nature, birds, and animals, especially the quail and deer in her yard. Her
favorite sports were snowmobiling in Morgan Valley and Yellowstone area and
enjoying the scenic beauty of the Moab area and Southern Utah. When her
daughters were grown she returned to Williams Store as a bookkeeper until the
store was sold in 1978. Surviving are four daughters, Jeri Hodgson, Morgan,
Anne Marie (Ron-ald) Porter, Morgan, Chris Brigance, Bountiful, Lisa Jo
(Michael) Clark, Porterville; seven grandchildren, Suzi (Rex) Waldron, Matthew
West (Kellie) Porter, Trinity Noel (Darrin) Frost, Tyler Joseph (T.J.) Ralphs,
Candice Lynn Clark, Andrea Jo (Brody) Snedden, Cale William (Lisa) Clark;
eight great-grandchildren, Conner and Ka-cee Waldron, Caylee Lynn Clark,
Hunter Noel and Hayleigh Erin Frost, Madisen Laura and Taylor Marie Porter,
and Brewer Dale Snedden. Also surviving are her sisters, Edith J. Lee, Mesa,
AZ, Vivian J. Pratt, Mor-gan, Effie J. Rich, Richville; also a sister-in-law,
Eileen P. Johnson, Mor-gan. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers,
William and John; son-in-law, Carl John Hodgson; and sister-in-law, Faye E.
Williams. Our family would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dr.
Greg Almony, Utah Cardiology, the wonderful staff at Peach Tree Place and IHC
Hospice. Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday Dec. 15, 2004 at 11 a.m. in
the Morgan Stake Chapel. Friends may call at Walker Mortuary in Morgan,
Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Preston Oakley Winger December 3~10, 2004  Our loving son and grandson,Preston
Oakley Winger , age 7 days, returned to hisHeavenly Father December 10, 2004.
He joined his twin sister, Porsche, who preceded him in death October 1, 2004.
Preston is survived by his parents, Joseph Andrew and Rachel Lee Mc-Farland
Winger; grandparents, Larry and Korinn Winger, and Elmer and Marilyn
McFarland. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 3 p.m. at Larkin Sunset
Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal
Funeral Home, Salt Lake City.
