Baird, Shanti Georgeanne Donna Shanti Georgeanne Donna Baird September 3, 1980 In the home where she was born and in the presence of many of her loved ones on Christmas eve, Shanti knew it was finally safe to release the confusion and pain that had tormented her for so long and allowed her soul to graduate. Throughout her life, she radiated a huge capacity to love, care for and nurture her family and friends. Shanti, the Sanskrit word for Peace, loved surprises, beautiful expressions of creativity, mystical places, and someone to share it with - most often laughing, playing and cleverly scheming with her best girlfriend or the niece and nephews who brought her so much joy. She is precious to and loved by her daddy, George, mom, Tawakul; brothers, Jay (Kayleen), Robert, Bryan (Wendi), Craig, and Colton Eatchel; sisters, Margret Chatelain (Edward), Krysti Blask (Steven), Gabriel Garding, and Christen Eatchel; all of their children, aunts, uncles and cousins; her best girlfriend, Sara; and her little doggie, Yoshi. As Christmas Eve turned to Christmas morn, she became a shining sun whose brightness will continue to warm our hearts forever. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 300 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City. A viewing will precede on Wednesday, Dec 29 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 1-2 p.m. The family requests that if desired, donations may be made in her memory to Larkin mortuary. Wall, Annabelle Harris Annabelle Harris Wall Together Forever Annabelle Harris Wall died in her sleep early in the morning December 26, 2004. She suffered from painful arthritis for many years. The family wishes to thank the many kind guardian angels who helped her during her long and difficult illness. With their assistance she was able to remain in her home through her last years. Annabelle was the third daughter of Jesse Harris and Chloe Louise Layton Harris, born August 17, 1916. She grew up on her parents' farm located on Antelope Drive and Hill Field Road. She sustained her husband during his callings in bishoprics over a period of 15 years. His work for United Air Lines took them to Portland, San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit and Denver. He was able to take advantage of work opportunities because she was willing to sell their house and move to a new city. Wherever her husband's work took them, she sought out other church members and faithfully served them. Layton, Utah always remained her home, and when her husband retired, she looked forward to returning to the place she loved best. However her long awaited return to Layton was delayed when she served as companion to her husband who was called as President of the Australia Brisbane Mission (1974-1977).
