Brown, Christopher David
Christopher David Brown 10/9/75 ~ 11/21/04  Our son, brother, fianc‚, uncle,
grandson and friend, Chris Brown, was taken from us November 21, 2004. He was
born in San Diego, CA, on October 9,1975. He lived his life as a free sprit
with the energy and love few experience. People were drawn to his joyous and
spontaneous personality. He lived with his whole heart, and his contagious
smile, and laughter will be missed by all. He is survived by his love Melissa,
mother Carol Brown, father James (Ken) Brown, Stepmother Carroll Brown,
sisters; Caroline, Kelly and Tamra, niece Sophia, nephew Jacob, Grandparents
Caroline Barry, Lander and Evelyn Dellinger, Susan Barker and many aunts,
uncles, cousins and other extended family. Memorial services will be held at
10:30 am, Saturday, November 27, 2004 at the Garner Funeral Home, 1001 11th
Avenue, Salt Lake City.

Butler, Edna Koplin
Edna Koplin Butler Dancing Together Again  Our beloved mom, grandma,
great-grandma, sister and friend, Edna  Koplin Butler died Nov 24, 2004. She
was born May 22, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gustav A. and Lena Glissmeyer
Koplin. She married Ira Lavar "Bud" Butler on June 7, 1933 in the Salt Lake
Temple. They enjoyed nearly 70 years together until he died in January, 2003.
Mom loved her church callings working with the children as Primary President
and Jr. Sunday School Coordinator; also her years of service to the children
at Butler Elementary as lunch-room manager. She and Dad loved to dance and
were well known for their beautiful ballroom style. They enjoyed camping with
their many friends, and loved hosting bus trips for Donna's Tours. She is the
proud mother of Beverly (Bill) Skordas, Dennis (deceased), Barbara (John)
Bird, Brenda (Jim) Barber, and special daughter-in-law Vi Schweickert. She
cherished her 15 grandchildren, 48 great-grand-children and one
great-great-grand-child. She is also survived by her brother Martin (Ila)
Koplin. Preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers. Services will be
held Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Brighton 1st Ward chapel
2925 East Bengal Blvd. (7800 S.) Friends and family may call Friday evening
from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary 3115 East Bengal Blvd and
one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church.

Cox, Melvin Orville
Melvin Orville Cox 1910 ~ 2004  Melvin Orville Cox, 94, died Monday, November
22, 2004. He was a quiet, unassuming man whose influence for good will be felt
for generations. He was born November 8, 1910 in Fairview, Utah to Ada Sirilla
Howell and Vern Cox. He was proud of his Sanpete County heritage and always
enjoyed returning to his childhood home and the nearby mountains. Melvin
attended elementary school in Fairview and completed high school at North
Sanpete High. He was a good student but recalled climbing out the elementary
school window when he found the lesson of the day unsatisfactory.  He served a
mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the East
Central States, laboring in Kentucky before being introduced to his future
wife, Edith Emma Beckstrand, who was attending Snow College in Ephraim. It was
love at first sight, and they married on March 10, 1933, in the Manti Temple.
Edith had returned to her home in Meadow, Utah, to teach school, and they
managed only five meetings, mostly on holidays, before the wedding. They lived
in Fairview and Manti before moving to Salt Lake City in December 1937. 
Melvin was a faithful and devoted church member and served in many callings,
including bishoprics and high priest groups. He was a ward clerk in three
different wards. He fulfilled home teaching duties and greeted members of the
East Millcreek Ninth Ward as they arrived at Sacrament Meeting until the time
of his death. He and Edith had moved to the East  Millcreek area in 1960 and
enjoyed the association of many neighborhood friends.  In Manti, Melvin worked
in the county clerk's office. In Salt Lake, he held positions of
responsibility with the Utah Department of Social Security (now the Department
of Work Force Services) for 35 years and was admired by those with whom he
worked. He has maintained associations with colleagues, meeting regularly for
luncheon gatherings. Edith and Melvin served a mission at the Oakland Temple
Visitors' Center from 1975 to 1977. They were among the first guides at the
Church Museum of History and Art and were ordinance workers at the Salt Lake
Temple. He loved all of these callings.  Melvin and Edith traveled widely in
the United States and abroad. After Edith's death in 2001, Melvin continued
their practice of traveling with family members and rarely missed a birthday,
baptism, graduation or wedding. His family and his religious convictions were
most important to him. His grandchildren visited him frequently, and they
loved him as much as he loved them. Several lived in the downstairs of the
family home and added excitement to his life. Melvin was the ultimate
gardener. Friends and family enjoyed his prize-winning tomatoes, and even
casual passers-by commented on his beautiful rose garden. His family
particularly benefited from his ability to fix almost anything. He managed to
accumulate and recycle an amazing assortment of items that most people would
have discarded as junk. Melvin is survived by two daughters and their
husbands, Sherilyn (Ben) Bennion, Salt Lake City, and JoLynn (Gayle) Warner,
Cedar City; a son-in-law, Jerry Watts, Murray; a brother-in-law, Orrin B.
Beckstrand, Bountiful; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith; three
sisters; three brothers; and a daughter, Gayle Gregory Watts. Funeral services
for Melvin will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the East
Millcreek Ninth Ward Chapel, 3750 S. Hillside Lane (2600 East). Friends may
call at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E., from 6 p.m.   8 p.m. Friday
evening and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m.   10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will be at the Meadow City Cemetery, Meadow UT, after a brief
graveside service at 3 p.m. Funeral Directors: Holbrook Mortuary.

Fairbanks, Wilder Ned
Wilder Ned Fairbanks 1925 ~ 2004  WILLARD - Wilder Ned Fairbanks, died
peacefully at his home, November 22, 2004, surrounded by his wife and all five
of his children.  He was born November 9, 1925, a son of Wilder Fairbanks and
Laura Mabel McKown Fairbanks. Ned was reared in the Duchesne area by kind and
loving parents and had a happy young life. He enjoyed the mountains and
streams, fishing and hunting and all the various sports that were available.
He was educated in Duchesne schools and on June 30, 1943, married Althora
Mayhew in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS
Temple on June 20, 1944. Ned served in the Pacific during World War II with
the 27th regiment of the 25th division. He returned to Duchesne after the war
where he owned and operated a farm, worked in the Duchesne post office, and
served in various church and civic assignments, including scoutmaster, Elders
Quorum president and county chairman of the American Red Cross. In 1955, Ned
transferred to the postal service in Ogden, Utah where he worked until
retirement in 1980. He and Althora purchased a fruit farm in South Willard in
1961, where they built a home. His life was centered around his wife and
family. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly. He loved living
in the country and working on his farm. Ned enjoyed the great outdoors and
liked to travel. He loved God, his country and was always proud to be an
American. He was a member of the Willard 3rd Ward where he served as a Sunday
School president, councilor in the bishopric and several years in the High
Priest Group leadership. He is survived by his loving wife, Althora, his sons,
Michael Ned (Holly) Fairbanks, Mark Stephen (Darcy) Fairbanks, daughters,
Suzanne Althora (Larry) Williamson, Sharla Rae (Doug) Lemon, and Sherri Lee
(Gary) Swinden. He and Althora are proud grandparents to 17 grandchildren and
nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving a sister, Maxine Robinson. He is
preceded in death by brother, Joseph (Little Joe) Fairbanks, sister, Arlene
Smith. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.
at the Willard Peak Chapel, 665 W. 7615 S., Willard. Friends may call on
Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on
Tuesday from 10:00-10:40 a.m. at the Willard Peak Chapel. Interment will be in
the Willard Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to
all the doctors, nurses and caregivers who provided tender loving care

Green, Milton Charles
Milton Charles Green 1928 ~ 2004  Milton Charles Green returned to his
Heavenly father peacefully at his home in Centerville on Nov 22, 2004.  He was
born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 27, 1928 to William C. And Mary Layton
Green. Milt was married for 55 years to his childhood sweetheart, and best
friend, Joyce McNeil, on April 9, 1949. Sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple,
November 18, 1955. Milt was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saint and served in many callings throughout his lifetime.
Presidencies of Young Men's and Elders Quorums. Milt worked hard all his life
starting as a small boy in the onion fields of Woods Cross. He joined the Navy
in 1945 and served in the Pacific theater. Upon returning home, he worked for
Phillips Refinery and was founder of M.C. Green, Inc., later to become M.C.
Green and Sons, Inc. He was always proud of the quality of his work and many
large contracts were made on the shake of a hand. His hard working ethics are
a legacy that continues today through the hardworking men who continue to work
for the company. Milt and Joyce were members of the Oakridge Country Club,
where they participated in their love of golf with lifetime friends and he
served on the board and as president. Milt loved to golf, many days playing 36
holes. He had 3 hole-in-ones and had the most fun playing with his children
and grandchildren of whom he was most proud. Milt and his beloved wife
traveled many places in the world with Hawaii being his favorite destination.
Milt was fun to travel with and enjoyed reading and was a walking encyclopedia
of facts he had studied. He loved to garden and won five Salt Lake Tribune
Civic Beautification awards. Many happy hours were spent with his
grandchildren working in his garden. His yard was a tribute to a great man who
loved life, family and friends. He authored four books and was a member of the
Bountiful Literary Guild. Milt studied and graduated from the International
Architectural School.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two sisters and one
brother and five loving children, Connee Tingey, Brad (Susan), Mark (Lisa),
Susan (Wally St. Joer), and Bill; 16 grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.  Services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2004 at
11:00 a.m. at the Centerville South Stake Center, 270 N. 300 E. Friends may
call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main
and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.

Henderson, Harry Harweeda
Harry Harweeda Henderson 1929 ~ 2004  Harry Harweeda Henderson of Kearns, Utah
passed away on November 24, 2004 at home.  He was born on March 24, 1929 in
Blackshear, Georgia the son of James Harry and Birdie Dixon Henderson.  Harry
served in the U.S. Navy and Air force from 1947 to 1968 and attained the rank
of Technical Master Sergeant. He earned a Bronze Star while serving in
Vietnam. He then served as Lab Manager at Primary Children's Hospital from
1968 until 1990 when he retired. Harry served faithfully in the office of
Bishop as well as numerous other callings in the LDS church. Survived by his
wife, Karen of Kearns; sons, Keith (Callie), West Jordan; Kim David, Stow,
Ohio; daughters; Sherri (Bill) Crowther of Cove, Oregon; Karen (Cordell) Jones
of Stow, Ohio; Kathy (Scott) Prigmore, Rogers, MN; Jennifer of Provo, UT;
brothers; Horace, Ranford, Eugene, and Ander all of GA; nine grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren. Preceded by his first wife, Margery Elizabeth Clark.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the
Kearns Central Stake Center 4575 West 5415 South. Family and friends may visit
Friday, November 26, 2004 from the hours of 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McDougal
Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road and 12:00 to 12:45 at church on Saturday.
Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Park.

Lund III, Robert C.
Robert C. Lund III "You're Pressed "  Robert Charles Lund III (Bob), passed
away November 23, 2004 in Murray, Utah. Born May 18th, 1935 in East Mill
Creek, to Thomas Judd Lund and Margaret Burt. He married Carol Nash in 1953,
later divorced. Married Heide Kerns in 1988. He attended Granite High School.
Robert worked for Mt. Fuel Company for 26 years, then launched a second
business career with many entrepreneurial successes. He enjoyed life to its
fullest; often involved in pleasant competition like golf, bowling or a family
card game, always with a small wager and a smile. Forever an eternal optimist,
Robert quietly and often anonymously blessed the lives of others through his
unfailing generosity and kindness. Survived by wife, Heide Lund and daughter
Elisabeth, and his children, Robert Charles IV (Leslie), Russell K. (Shauna),
James Judd (Amy), Tiffanie (Craig) Anderson. His legacy includes 16
grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by parents, one
brother, Thomas Judd, one sister, Mary Jean McGhie and son, Rex Douglas. A
celebration of his life and his goodness will be held in an LDS Memorial
Service Saturday, November 27th, 10:00 a.m. at the Cimarron Ward, 5980 S. 1300
W., Taylorsville. Friends may call Friday evening, 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe
Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests
donations to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in memory of Robert C. Lund III.

Marchant, Iris Russell
Iris Russell Marchant 1925 ~ 2004  "Loving Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, and
Sister" Iris Russell Marchant, 79, our special Mom and Grandma, passed away
November 22, 2004.  She was born July 30, 1925 in Marion, Utah to Charles
Lyman and Vera Gibbons Russell. On September 25, 1946, Iris married John
Harold Marchant in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. John preceded her in death in
1993. Iris was a faithful member of the LDS Church who gave compassion to all
in need. She served on the Midvale City Arts Council and retired from Jordan
School District where she worked as a secretary. She was an avid Ute fan,
enjoyed traveling and camping. Her grandchildren enjoyed her total support in
all their activities. Survivors: children, Michele Teran (Doug), Sandy;
Kristine Ard (DeWayne), Kearns; Cynthia Bates (John), Taylorsville; Annette
Morley (Shawn), So. Jordan; Sherilyn Neuenswander (Mark), Midvale; 17
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Austin
(Margaret), Raymond (Laurie), Ruth Hathaway, June Smart (Leon), Ina Bulygo,
Charlyn Sorensen, Karma Bruin (Jerry), Nelda Donga. Funeral services will be
held Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the Midvale 3rd & 4th Ward,

Pease, Elva Thomson Grant
Elva Thomson Grant Pease 1921 ~ 2004  Our loving wife, mom and grandma, Elva
Pease, passed away November 22, 2004 in Murray, UT. She was 83 years old. 
Elva was born on April 23, 1921 to William LeRoy Thomson and Agnes Marietta
Calkin, in Granite, Utah. She attended West High and Box Elder High. She
married Ernest Artell Grant on December 18, 1937. Their marriage was later
solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married 56 years. Ernie passed
away on June 9, 1994. She married James Clinton Pease on September 8, 1995.
Elva was very talented and creative. She loved to sew, cook, do crafts and
specialized in cake decorating. She made over 100 wedding cakes and many event
cakes. She taught cake decoration in Relief Society and Continuing Education
Program for over 12 years. She was active in her wards and sang in the ward
choir and was a homemaking leader for many years. Elva had a kind word for
everyone and never looked at faults. She loved everyone unconditionally. She
will be greatly missed by many. Elva is survived by her husband, Jim Pease,
and her children, LeRoy (Linda) Grant, Coalville, UT; Michael (Elke) Grant,
Surprize, AZ; David (Penny) Grant, Sandy, UT; Bob (Cathy) Grant, Vernal, UT;
Mary Jean Grant, Murray, UT; Mary Simpson, Taylorsville, UT; Danny (Donna)
Pease, Florence, OR; Diane Burkman, West Jordan, UT. Preceded in death by her
first husband Ernest Grant, and son, Brent.  We would like to thank the staff
of the Willow Wood Care Center for the excellent care and concern given to

Peterson, Leon Dale
Leon Dale Peterson 1935 ~ 2004 Leon Peterson 69, loving father, grandfather,
great-grandfather and friend passed away on November 17, 2004 peacefully in
the home he and his son built together and loved in Congress AZ.  Born August
15, 1935 to Edward V. Peterson and Helen O. Sagendorf in Sandy.  Survived by
two children; Dale Leon Peterson of Sandy, Tamara Sue Brand (Jeff) of West
Valley, two step children; Kirk R. Jensen (Wendy) of Sandy, and Cherie J.
Zundel (Dan) of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren Alisha, Michael, Christina,
and Jessica; and two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Canyon; his brother
Kenneth Peterson (Marlene) of Bountiful; sister Janice Crump (Norval)of Sandy.
Preceded in death by his loving wife Sandra, and his parents. Early in his
career he was a truck driver for Associated Foods. He then worked as a
salesman for Henry S. Day Ford dealership, and finished his career as a
foreman with Associated Foods. At 55 years old he retired to travel with his
wife and work at his real talent, creating beautiful woodcrafts. He enjoyed
traveling around selling his woodcrafts and walking his second love, his dog
Corky. He will be loved and missed by many. We love you Daddy! At Leon's
request his remains have been cremated. A memorial service will be held Sat.
November 27th 2004 at 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 for friends to visit with family.
The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Copperhill's 5th Ward, 4333 South 6400
West, West Valley City, UT.

Peterson, Nelda Kathryn Pedersen (Katie)
Nelda Kathryn (Katie) Pedersen Peterson 9/13/17 ~ 11/23/04  Born September 13,
1917 in Dingle, Idaho a loving daughter of George Garfield Pedersen and
Melinda Sparks Cook. She began supporting her family at age 14, and lived a
life of work balanced with fun, the search for wisdom, and beauty. She passed
peacefully in her sleep in Bountiful, Utah the morning of November 23, 2004
following multiple strokes.  She married J. LeRoy Peterson in the Salt Lake
Temple on Feb 10, 1937.  She is survived by her husband and her children:
Ronald L. (Marcia), Laguna Niguel, CA; Dennis R. (Claudia), Bountiful, UT;
Kris (Greg) Hunter, Salt Lake City, UT; Melinda Ann Peterson, Pocatello, ID;
and Wendy (Bill) Kirk, Oklahoma City, OK; her brothers Dale (Dorothy) and
Roger Pedersen. She is preceded in death by her sisters: Lois (Mrs. Gunter
Hiller) and Dolores White. An island of grace and charm, she loved friends and
her family and had a magic, creative touch in the kitchen. Her "purpose in
this lifetime was to gain spiritual growth and understanding. She labored to
be an instrument in sharing the truths which underlie happiness. Blessed to be
a Child of God, she will now continue her journey back to the Father, thankful
for this journey of unfoldment."  Our family would like to extend special
thanks to those who loved and cared for her at LifeCare of Bountiful. Friends
and family of Katie will gather at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East,
Salt Lake City, UT, on Saturday, November 27, 2004 for a 1:30 p.m. viewing

Ronald Eugene Peterson Ron (Nicodemus)  Ronald Eugene Peterson, Age 72, passed
away Nov. 22, 2004 in West Jordan, Utah.  Ron was born April 22, 1932. His
parents are John Vernon Peterson and Evon Waspe. He served in the U.S. Army,
then married Frances Alice Covington, Oct. 1954: later solemnized in the Salt
Lake Temple. She preceded him in death in 1974. He married Daphne Mecham
Draper in March 1999. Survived by children: Alan Peterson (Diana), Brenda Foil
(Veldon), Wayne Peterson (Annette), Eilene Rowley (Greg), Rex Peterson, Tom
Draper (Regina), Dan Draper, Rachel Draper, Rebekah Strickling (D. Jay),
Andrew Draper (Emily), Jeremy Draper, 27 grandchildren, 15 great
grandchildren, sister, Carolee Kempton (James). Also preceded in death by his
parents, two step-children and one grandson. Funeral services will be
Saturday, Nov. 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. View 1st Ward at 8825 S. 3200 W., West

Porter, Olive M.
Olive M. Porter 1914 ~ 2004  Olive M. Porter passed away peacefully at her
daughters home in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday  November 20, 2004 .  She was
born July 6, 1914 in Farnam, Nebraska to Sidney Irvin and Elizabeth Mae Smith.
She was married to Clifford S. Porter for 20 years, who preceded her in death.
Olive was active in Eastern Star and held many high offices for many years.
She enjoyed doing fine needlework and knitting for her family and friends. She
retired from Hill Air Force Base after 35 years of service in many differing
capacities in which her tenacious work ethic shone through.  She is survived
by her daughter and four sons; Gay Strickland (Bill) of Glendale, AZ; Clifford
(Nancy) Bountiful; Roger (Kathy) Tucson, AZ; Lynn (Carolyn) Bountiful; Ron
(Jo) Colorado Springs, CO; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  A
family viewing will be held 11:00 - 11:45 a.m. Friday, November 26th at the
Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary followed by Graveside Service and Interment at
Larkin Sunset Gardens in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Tyler Chad Rasmussen 1996 ~ 2004  Tyler Chad Rasmussen, age 8, passed away
November 23, 2004 in West Valley City, Utah, after a 2 « year battle with
cancer. Tyler was born September 3, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Chad
Rasmussen and Becky Stott Rasmussen. He attended Riverside and Jackling
Elementary School.  Tyler is survived by his loving parents, Chad and Becky
Rasmussen; sisters, Megan, age 12 and Raychel, age 14. Tyler loved school,
karate and his sisters. He was everyone's best friend and our Hero. Funeral
Services will be held Monday, November 29, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the 1st
Baptist Church of West Valley, 3831 South 2700 West. The family will receive
friends at a visitation Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Valley View Funeral
Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to the service at the Church.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.

Redmon, Fern Dea Bartels Fisher
Fern Dea Bartels Fisher Redmon 1914 ~ 2004 Fern Dea Bartels Fisher Redmon, 90,
died peacefully in her sleep of natural causes on Nov 20, 2004 in Salt Lake
City, Utah.  Born Aug 16, 1914 in Lyle, Minnesota to William Orley and Dora
Dea Dawson Bartels.  Fern joined Mama's Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in
1961 and served as the Director of the local YWCA; she was instrumental in the
development of the YWCA program for abused woman and children. She also served
as House Director of the Delta Delta Delta Theta Phi Chapter sorority house at
the University of Utah. She is survived by brothers Leo (Beverly) and Lyle
(Bonnie) Bartels; her sister Juanita Bartels Boekholder; daughters Charlotte
(Karle) Soderling and Elizabeth Palmer; sons Ted (Marsha) Fisher, John (Dawn)
Fisher; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grand-children and one
great-great-grand-child. Preceded in death by daughter Celesta Cazares,
husbands Theodore Ellsworth Fisher, Lawrence Redmon, and brothers Dick and
Billy Bartels. As a single mother Fern held her family up with her radiant
smile and never ending courage with love, devotion and a strength rarely
found. Fern's subtle but contagious sense of humor and endless faith carried
many of us through difficult times and gave us hope. We had our time with Fern
and although we must let her go our memories of Fern will remain forever as
she walks through heaven's gates. Funeral Service will be held Monday, Nov.
29th at 1:00 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 S. 2200 W. where friends
may call one hour prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Michael Kirk Savage "Our Hero" 12/10/70 ~ 11/21/04  On November 21, 2004
Michael Kirk Savage was set free from his earthly battle with cancer to
continue his eternal journey.  Kirk was an inspiration to all who knew him
with his unfailing hope and bright smile. He fought cancer with courage,
dignity, compassion and his usual great sense of humor. Kirk was a loving
husband, a father, a brother and a son. Kirk is and always will be "Our Hero".
Kirk will be missed everyday of our lives, until we are reunited as an eternal
family. He leaves here on earth, his eternal wife, Carrie and five precious
children, Madison, McKenzie, Mallorie, Mikey and Morgan; father, John (Kathy)
Savage; mother, LaDean Savage; brother, Nate (Hillary) and sister, Alyson
(Chuck) Smith; extended family of sister and brothers, Becky, Chris and Corey
Searle; grandmothers, Lena M. Savage and Henny Walters; many aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. We cannot put into words the
gratitude we feel in our hearts for all our friends and neighbors who have
helped us endure this difficult time with the many prayers, thoughts and gifts
of ENDLESS SERVICE. The family wishes to express their thanks to all the
doctors, nurses and personnel at Huntsman Cancer Institute for the tender care
and hope they gave to all of us throughout this difficult time. One of Kirk's
