Brown, Zoey Marie Zoey Marie Brown "Our Little Bug" 3/11/02 ~ 10/17/04 The most Brilliant little red leaf swayed ever so slightly in the crisp autumn breeze Sunday morning and peacefully let go of the branch she had clung to so tightly, twirling gently into her mother's arms. Zoey was born March 11, 2002 to Eric and Jennifer Brown. Her life was difficult but without ever saying a word Zoey's entire life spoke of Love. Each day our little bug showed all who knew her that just a smile or a funny face can bring laughter and joy. She taught us to appreciate the smallest things and to cherish our time together. Zoey passed away peacefully at home snuggled in her mother's arms. She is preceded in death by her loving grandfather Thomas Brown. Eric and Jennifer extend their sincerest thanks to all their family and friends for their love and support. Kobe, Lawrence Donn Lawrence Donn Kobe 1948 ~ 2004 PETERSON - Lawrence Donn Kobe, 56, passed away from injuries sustained from a fall, Monday, October 18, 2004. Larry was born to Lawrence L. and Alice Catherine Weber Kobe September 16, 1948 in Lewiston, Idaho. Larry and his mother joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1962 in Reno, Nevada. Dad was never able to deny with his life the truths of the gospel that he had been taught by those two missionaries so long ago in Reno. Dad always said that by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ the missionaries (Elder Kesler and Skousen) gave him a greater gift than they probably ever realized. At the age of 18, Larry began working for the US Postal Service from which he retired in October 2003. Larry married Jolene Rene‚ Bohman May 31, 1977 in the Ogden Temple. They have five wonderful children - four sons and one daughter. We were his helpers, and someday he would teach us everything. Everything is a lot to know, so he started teaching us young. He taught us about fixing stuff like motorcycles, microwaves, or any machine; about building stuff like tree houses, the New House, and our dreams. He taught us about rock climbing, repelling off cliffs, trees, or the roof of our house; about hiking and camping in deserts and exploring ghost towns. He taught us about pawnshops and songs about pawnshops on the corner that we now sing to golden-haired angels. He taught us about army stuff at Smith & Edwards and shooting stuff at Kents. He taught us about history and politics, and the problems of the world and how to solve them as we stayed up talking late at night. He taught us about adventures, how to dream and how to serve; and so we went to Kelton, to college, and served missions. He taught us that when he wanted to do something with his friends, he did something with us, because we were his friends. He taught us just how much he loved our mom, and that he would do anything for her and always be with her. He taught us how to love life, each other, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dad died doing what he loved best, working with his kids. Surviving are his wife, Jolene; sons, Kyle (Christy) of Salt Lake City, Utah; Trevor (Erin) of Peterson, Utah; Derek (Katie) of Herriman, Utah; Bret who is serving in the Morristown, New Jersey mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; and daughter, Elise who is attending dental school at the University of Utah.
