Baumgartner, Brigham Taylor Brigham Taylor Baumgartner 1979 ~ 2005 Brigham Taylor Baumgartner, age 26, was released from his pain on August 20, 2005 after a brave but futile fight with cancer. Brigham was born April 17, 1979 in Sandpoint, Idaho. He grew up in various cities of Utah, including Provo and West Valley City. At the time of his passing he had settled his family in Spanish Fork. Brigham is survived by the greatest joys of his life; his wife Angela, daughter Zoe, 6, and son Zak, 3 as well as Brighams parents, Carolyn and Gene, and his 10 brothers and sisters. Brigham became a father figure to his youngest siblings when he was sixteen years old and his entire life from that time was spent mentoring youths and bringing up his children with love and happiness. Brigham lived his life with an unshakeable sense of humor and he managed to laugh even throughout his illness and into his last day. His disarming smile and his quick wit will be missed by all who shared time with him. Brigham was a gifted athlete and a lover of all sports. Golf and baseball were his passions and he excelled at both as long as his body permitted it. His happiest days included the success of the U. of U. Basketball and Football teams; an apt reward for a life spent cheering on the Utes. Until his health failed, Brigham owned a successful masonry contracting company, 3-D Stone, which provided employment for his siblings and added beauty in Stone to many homes across the Wasatch front. Brigham's kind heart blessed the lives of every family member incalculably and his loss will leave an emptiness in our hearts until we join him again. May God welcome you warmly, Brigham, now that your burden has been lifted. We love you the most, but you loved us the mostest. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Chillon Reception Center 710 East Center Street in Spanish Fork. A viewing will be conducted beginning at 10 a.m. at the same location. Brigham will be interred in the Spanish Fork cemetery. Donations to the family can be made at Zion's Bank, Lehi Branch, Brigham Baumgartner Donation account. Published in the Deseret News on 8/23/2005. Cantrell, E.C. "Cree" E.C.
