Beesley, Ira Walker "Ike"          
Ira Walker "Ike" Beesley 1918 ~ 2005 SOUTH OGDEN- Ira Walker "Ike" Beesley,
87, beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather
passed away Monday, December 19, 2005 at The Legacy House of Ogden where he
lived with his wife Afton. Ike was born October 11, 1918 in Sunset, Utah to
Ira Walker and Catherina Van Daalen Beesley. He married Afton Stauffer on
March 27, 1937 in Ogden. Their vows were later solemnized in the Salt Lake
Temple. He was raised in South Ogden and attended Birch Creek School and Weber
High School. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and worked for the
Union Pacific Railroad and the Utah Power and Light Company where he started
as a meter reader and retired in Salt Lake City as a sales representative,
where he won many awards. He was instrumental in putting on many home shows
for the greater Salt Lake Home Builders Association. He was an avid golfer and
worked hard to get the Bountiful City Golf Course built. The "Ike Beesley
Classic" is still held yearly at the Bountiful City Golf Course. He was one of
the first members of the South Ogden City Volunteer Fire Department where he
served as Assistant Chief. Ike always had a desire to live in California.
After retirement in 1985, he and Afton moved to Hemet, California and lived
there for 10 years. They moved back to South Ogden in 1995. He was an active
member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an excellent
teacher and served in a bishopric and was a Seventy and a Stake Missionary in
the Bountiful South Utah Stake. He was a very faithful home teacher! He and
Afton served an 18 month mission to Nauvoo, Illinois from 1986 to 1987. They
were also ordinance workers in the Los Angeles California Temple. He served as
a High Priest Group Leader and on the High Council of the Hemet California
Stake. He LOVED attending the Ogden Utah Temple where he would ride his bike
to and from his South Ogden home most days the temple was open. His testimony
of the gospel was sure and complete. Ike enjoyed walking and, as long as his
health allowed, would walk each morning. When his memory began failing him, he
would often walk two or three times each day, thinking he had not yet taken
his walk for that day. Surviving are his wife, Afton, of South Ogden; their
son Don (Annette), South Ogden; seven grandchildren and their spouses; 28
great-grand-children; two brothers, Grant (Phyllis) Brown, Hemet, California;
Frank (Diana) Preston, Pierce City, Missouri; and a sister, Mary Jane
(Forrest) Lloyd, Middleton, Idaho. Ike was preceded in death by his daughter
Janice; his parents; and two sisters, Nellie and Irene. The family expresses
their deep appreciation for the loving care provided by the IHC Hospice Team
of Ogden and the staff at Legacy House of Ogden, Manor Care Center, and Mt.
Ogden Nursing Center. Despite the many challenges brought on by dementia and
Alzheimer's disease, Ike had a remarkable spirit and love of life, which was
evident in all he did. He loved others, especially his family, and most
especially his great-grandchildren. We thank him for the knowledge he has
given us and know that he will continue to inspire us to continue to do our
best. We look forward to the day when we will rejoice with him again. Funeral
services will be held Friday, December 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the South
Ogden 7th Ward, 720 Nancy Drive, Ogden. Family and friends may call on
Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the

Bishop, Ralph       
Ralph Bishop Delta, Ut~ Granite, Ut 2/13/1921~12/18/2005 Our beloved father,
Ralph Bishop, joined our dear mother, Reva, in a glorious 64th wedding
anniversary after traveling "The Lonesome Highway" without her for only seven
weeks. After a lifetime of service to his family, church, community and
country, Father left all who knew him a rich legacy of love and devotion to
duty. His greatest desires were to see his family and friends happy; and to
"walk uprightly before the Lord". Regardless if Father was serving as "Bishop
Ralph", Judge Bishop, Elder Bishop in the mission field, Mr. Bishop to his
students, or Sgt. Bishop to his World War II comrades, he considered all he
met as his "Friend". Never did he turn a "broken heart" or "hurting soul" away
from his door. A peacemaker always, he lived what he believed. With gratitude
for his many acts of love, service and tenderness, his family and friends
publicly acknowledge our debt to him for showing us the right way to live.
Truly, he lived our Savior's example. Dad's funeral services will celebrate
his life Thursday Dec. 22nd, 11:00 am in the Granite LDS Ward Chapel 9575
South 3100 East Sandy, Utah. Family and friends may show their respects at the
Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East 10600 South Sandy, Utah, Wed. Dec. 21, 6 to 8
pm and at the Granite Ward 10 am to 10:45 am prior to the service.

Boyce, Timothy R. "Timmy"          
Timothy "Timmy" R. Boyce 1976 ~ 2005 FARMINGTON - Timothy Rick Boyce, 29, died
Friday, December 16, 2005 in Germany after being transferred from Iraq, of a
brain aneurysm. He was born October 15, 1976 in Bountiful, a son of Rick D.
and Tamra Jensen Boyce. On May 2, 1998, Tim married the love of his life,
Sharon Strong, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are blessed with the
knowledge that their family will be together forever. He was raised and
educated in the Farmington area and lived in North Salt Lake and Colorado
Springs, Colorado. Tim was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints Greenfield Ward, and served an honorable mission in La
Reunion and Madagascar. He loved the gospel and taught others by word and deed
and most of all by his loving example. He loved his Savior and sought His
counsel. At the time of his death, he was honorably serving his country with
the U.S. Army in Iraq. Tim loved his country, was proud of his service, and
the opportunity to serve the Iraqi people. Tim enjoyed golfing, skiing, and
trips to the family cabin. However, the great loves of his life were his wife,
children and extended family. He spent every opportunity playing with his son,
holding his daughter in his arms, and caring for his wife. Tim always had a
smile and hug for everyone he knew. Tim's contagious laugh, unconditional love
toward all, ability to be the life of the party, and gift to look for the best
in everyone, will be dearly missed. Tim is loved like a son and brother by the
Strong Family and is a great blessing and light to both families. The Boyce
Family will cherish the memories of a wonderful son and brother. Timmy will be
greatly missed by all who know and love him. Surviving are his wife Sharon,
son Ammon Timothy and daughter Gracelynn Adaline Boyce, all of Farmington. Tim
is also survived by his parents, grandparents Donald (Linda) Boyce and Boyd
Jensen, all of Farmington; three brothers and one sister, Jeff Boyce and Brad
Boyce, both of Arizona; Bryan Boyce currently serving an LDS mission in
Brazil; Harmony Dawn Boyce, Arizona. Tim was welcomed in heaven by his
brothers Aaron and Eric Boyce, and his grandmother Marge Jensen. Funeral
services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Greenfield Ward Chapel, 1298
North 400 West in Centerville. Friends may call at Lindquist's Bountiful
Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday at the
Ward Chapel 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery where
Military Honors will be accorded. The family respectfully requests that, in

Button, Patricia Thomas       
Patricia Thomas Button (Pat) Patricia T. Button died December 19, 2005. She
was born July 14, 1928 to Arthur L. Thomas Jr. and Erma Brown. Her
grandfather, Arthur L. Thomas, was the last Territorial Governor of Utah. She
married Russell Wayne Owens Jr. (deceased). She later married F. Robert Button
(deceased). She graduated from East High School and received her BA in Art
History from the University of Utah. She was a past president of the
Assistance League of Salt Lake and the Ballet West Guild, also serving as a
board member of the Opera Guild. She served for three years on the U of U
College of Fine Arts Alumni Council and was involved in many volunteer
projects. She was also a member of PEO. She loved to go to Wendover and to
travel. She is survived by children: Katie Godfrey (Brent), Meg Anderson
(Bob), Robert Owens (Chris); her step-children Robert Button Jr., Colleen
Crotty (Bruce); brother Robert Thomas; 15 grandchildren: Tina, Heidi, Ian,
Danielle, Daniel, Ashley, Christopher, Carly, Russell, Casey, Cory, Wendy,
Jessica, David, Jason; three great-grandchildren and her four cats. Preceded
in death by parents; children Wendy Romney and Michael Owens; siblings Arthur,
Margaret and Mary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2005,
11:00 a.m., at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 S., where friends and family
may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, please make donations to the University of Utah College of

Chipman, Lester          
Lester Chipman 1925 ~ 2005 Lester Dewaine Chipman has gone home for Christmas,
after his second 'bout with cancer. Preceded in Death by (parents) Thomas and
Vera Chipman, (sisters) Chiyo V. Blyle and Maxine Anderson Survived by: (wife)
Leone Beckstead Chipman, (sister) Colleen Diamond, (children) Kathy Felt,
Stephen Chipman (Carolyn), RaKell Chipman (Andy); (Grandchildren) Chad Felt
(Jennifer), Todd Felt (Shanna McNeil) Aliese Chipman, Jennifer Chipman, Jacob
Chipman, Natalie Chipman, and Jessica Chipman. Graduated from West High
School, joined US Navy, served in World War II on USS Mack and USS Koiner.
Honorably discharged Dec. 1946. Worked at KOMO Radio, Boeing, KSL-TV, and
Evans Advertising. Married Leone Beckstead on June 19th 1951, Salt Lake
Temple. Active in LDS church as Chorister, Sunday school teacher, Priesthood
Teacher, Bishopric councilor, High councilman and Temple Worker. Felt most
satisfied teaching and doing Temple Work. Viewing at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary
Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral
Dec. 21, 11:00 a.m. Edgehill First Ward 1750 S. 1500 E., Salt Lake.

Christensen, Daryl M.         
Daryl M. Christensen 1960 ~ 2005 Daryl M. Christensen was born to Elmon and
Elmeda Christensen on November 16, 1960 in American Fork, Utah. He passed away
on his 23rd wedding anniversary December 16, 2005. He served a faithful
mission in Brazil for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from
1980-1982. He met his sweetheart, Irene Meldrum in September and married her
three months later in the Provo, Utah Temple. He earned his B.S. in Electronic
Engineering. He worked for IBM for many years. He is survived by his wife,
Irene, children Blake, Amy, and Lisa; his mother Elmeda Christensen, four
brothers, La Voy, Royal and Clark Christensen and Mike Gervais, and sister Eva
Mae C. Barton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005
at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint, Kansas City, Missouri with
burial in Longview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to LDS
Church-Humanitarian Fund, 13246 Manchester Ave, Grandview, MO 64030.

Eda P. Christensen "Still Quilting" Eda Lavon Peterson Christensen, 79, passed
away Dec 18, 2005 at Delta. Born Sept 22, 1926 in Salt Lake City to Lorenzo
Stowell and Ida Mae Turley Peterson. Married Ralph Joseph Christensen, April
30, 1948 in the Manti LDS Temple. He passed away Jan 9, 1992. Eda has made
hundreds of quilts for family and others, leaving a star quilt partly
completed. Fondly known as "the" Avon Lady of Oak City. Active member of LDS
Church serving in many church callings. Survived by children: Lorraine
(DeLynn) Hathaway, Salt Lake City; Ralph Jr. (Cindy) Christensen, Mapleton;
Eloise (Stuart) Evans, Oak City; Mae (Alan) Urie, Salt Lake City; Pam (Brad)
Cooper, Copalais Crossing, WA; Virginia (Bryan) Cull, Delta; Evelyn (Steve)
Bowen, Springville; Alice (Ken) Heidenreich, Parowan; Dale (Linda) Martin,
Sparks, NV; 33 grandchildren; 15 great-grand-children; three sisters: Betty
Christensen, Doris Memmot, both Payson; Delois (Norm) Lamb, Caldwell, ID. Her
sister and best friend Louise (LaForge) Lovell of Leamington passed away just
a few hours after Eda's death. Preceded in death by infant daughter: Judy; two
infant grandsons, three sisters: Verlene Hatch, Barbara Homedew, Peggy

Danley, Opal Hone        
Opal Hone Danley 1925 ~ 2005 Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, passed
away peacefully December 19, 2005. Opal was born October 6, 1925 in Tremonton,
Utah to Ted Hone and Lenna Daniels. She is the second of four daughters. The
family lived a short time in Rock Springs, Wyoming then settled in Ogden,
Utah. Opal graduated from Ogden High and attended two years at Weber College.
Opal married Richard (Dick) Danley on March 24, 1945 in Ogden. Following World
War II they settled in Manhattan Beach, California. They were sealed in the
Los Angeles temple on March 9, 1957. They subsequently lived in Phoenix,
Arizona, Dallas then Houston, Texas, Salt Lake and Heber City, Utah. Opal is a
faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held
various positions in Relief Society and Primary. She served a Salt Lake City
inner city mission with her husband. She was an active member of the D.U.P.
for many years and a diligent family history researcher. Opal enjoyed her
family the most. She was always the heart of our home. She made dear friends
everywhere she lived. She was known for her cooking, especially pies. She
loved and touched many in her life. We were blessed by her faith, patience,
unconditional love and endurance. Survivors include her beloved husband Dick,
their children Rich (Dottie) of Orlando; Scott (Misty) of Roosevelt; Mark of
Las Vegas; Marjean Weiler (Mark) of Salt Lake; sister, Georgia (Ron) Erickson
of Ogden; 17 grandchildren, and four great-grand-children. She is preceded in
death by daughter, Denise, daughter-in-law, Connie, parents, sisters, Kathryn
and Margene. The family would like to thank the staffs of Alta Ridge Assisted
Living in Murray, Cozy Home Health and Legacy Retirement for all their loving
assistance in mom's final years. Funeral services will be held Thursday,
December 22, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at the Valley Hills 2nd Ward Chapel, 521 E. 500
North, Heber City. Friends may call between 12:00-1:00 prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of

Echeverry, Ana Rosa           
Ana Rosa Echeverry 8/21/18 ~ 12/19/05 Ana Rosa "Rosita" Echeverry Trujillo
returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 19, 2005. She was born in
Colombia to Alejandro Echeverry and Cecilia Trujillo. She was married and
sealed to Francisco L. Suarez in Orlando, Florida. Rosita had a great love for
children and everyone she knew. She will always be remembered for her famous
home cooking. She is survived by her six children, Gloria, her lovely daughter
who lived with her all her life, Ruth, Maricela, Amanda, Henry and Francisco;
17 grandchildren; 29 great-grand-children and two great-great-grand-children.
Rosita was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco L. Suarez and her son,
Alejandro. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23rd, 11:00 a.m. at
the Haven Ward, 2280 South 300 East, Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held
Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South
Redwood Road and one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial

Engh, Claudius Engelbrecht         
Claudius Engelbrecht Engh 1917 ~ 2005 Claudius Engelbrecht Engh, age 88 passed
away Dec. 13th, 2005 at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born May
15th, 1917 in Laurium, Michigan, to parents August Engh and Jennie M. Johnson.
He married Nancy Jo Toombes on February 19, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He
was a member of the Lutheran church. He proudly served his country during
World War II as a bombardier in the US Air Force, and achieved the rank of
Lieutenant Colonel. In 1971 he was transferred to the Retired Reserve USAF. He
is survived by his loving daughter Kelly Senft of British Columbia, Canada. A
memorial service will be held Wednesday December 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Evans &
Early.

Garrett, Edith Nelson         
Edith Nelson Garrett Together Again Edith, age 96, passed away December 18,
2005 in Salt Lake City. She was born on June 7, 1909 in Brigham City, Utah to
Soren Herman Nelson Jr. and Ada Christina Hamson. She was an active member of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many ward and
stake callings. She served a stake mission with her husband, Clive. She loved
to cook, sew, and crochet. She enjoyed gardening beautiful flowers and always
kept up an incredible vegetable garden. She always had to be doing something
to keep busy. Her favorite times were when she had family around her. Married
April 10, 1929 to Clive Kirkham Garrett in the Salt Lake Temple. They enjoyed
73 wonderful years together. She was a sister, friend, mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by her
children, Clive Wayne (Verna) Garrett, Dean Paul Garrett, Jack David
(Rosemary) Garrett, Judy Ann (Ralph) Kmetzsch, Sister, Beth Hawkins, 27
grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clive; sons, Dale Nelson
Garrett and Jerry Nelson Garrett; daughter, Geraldine Elaine Garrett;
daughter-in-law, Patricia Garrett; granddaughter, Melanie and
great-granddaughter Alison and great-grandson Mitchell; six brothers and three
sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 22 at 12:00 noon at
the Winder 7th Ward, 4350 South 1100 East. Friends and Family may come and pay
their respects at 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

Gustaveson, Scott Louis       
Scott Louis Gustaveson 1957 ~ 2005 Scott Louis Gustaveson, 48, passed away at
his home in Tucson, Arizona, Wed. Dec. 14, 2005. He was born March 12, 1957,
in Provo, Utah, to Audrey Jean Peterson and the late Lee Scott Gustaveson.
Scott grew up in Riverton, Bountiful, and Peterson, Utah. He moved to Virginia
with his family when he was 16. At 17, he married Toni Santullo. They had two
wonderful children and later divorced. He moved back to Utah in 1993 and to
Tucson in 1995. He was a master carpenter, master dart thrower (winning many
trophies), a star baseball pitcher, and a great friend to many. He was loved
dearly by so many and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his
children-Christopher Shane Gustaveson, Tucson, AZ; and Brandy Musick,
Glendive, MT; grandsons - Calvin Scott and Connor, Glendive, MT; mother - West
Jordan, UT; siblings-Karen Lee, Clark (Jackie) Gustaveson, Vernal, UT; Sherrie
(Tom) Day, Moab/Mt. Pleasant, UT; Marla (Dan) Floyd, West Jordan, UT; and
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. A memorial
service will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, 1:00 p.m., at the Rasmussen
Mortuary, 96 N 100 W, Mt. Pleasant, UT. Visiting will begin one hour prior to
service. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery and in the ocean at Nagshead,
NC, at a later date. His friends in Vernal will be having a benefit dart
tournament and his friends in Arizona will be throwing a memorial party in
January.

Harrie, Del Pettit       
Del Pettit Harrie 1920 ~ 2005 A year after his sweet Lenore went on ahead, Del
decided he was much better off with her. On Sunday, Dec. 18th, he joined her.
His loving son, Greg, was there to welcome Dad, too. Born in the mining town
of Heiner to Daniel and Maurine, he was reared mostly by his grandpa and
grandma Pettit. He also spent lots of time in the care of his wonderful
aunties in Manti and Price. Del spent most of his working life in the beauty
supply business and for many years owned Paramount Beauty in Utah and Idaho.
He was a true salesman. Dad peppered people with questions and loved telling
stories. He made friends wherever he traveled, which was widely. In the last
year of his life, though, he refused to leave the South Lake Villa. It was
where he was surrounded by many good friends and memories. Survived by sons
Roger (Beverly) and Dan (Billie). Also survived by grandchildren Alicia (Matt)
Cook, Nicole (Jason) Richardson, Janelle (Ben) Harrie, Sam, Greg, Andrew, Paul
and Ryan. Step-grandchildren Alisa (Sheldon) Frei, Matthew (Kasey) Henry and
Adam (Emily) Henry. Preceded in death by wife, Lenore, son, Greg;
daughter-in-law Sylvia. Services Fri., Dec. 23, 10 a.m., Wasatch Lawn
Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Dr.

Hess, David Chase        
David Chase Hess 1912 ~ 2005 On the evening of December 19th, David C. Hess
returned to the loving arms of his Father in Heaven, surrounded by his devoted
wife and family. Born May 26, 1912 in Farmington, Utah to David Cornelius Hess
and Lois Catherine Kimball. He married the love of his life, Susan Van Drunen,
on April 25, 1941. Dad will be remembered for his love of nature, refined
music and numerous hobbies. He was a avid student of history and religion.
Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a grandson of
John W. Hess and Heber C. Kimball. Dad enjoyed teaching gospel doctrine and,
with his wife, served many years in the Salt Lake Temple. He served in the
U.S. Navy from 1929 - 1933 in the Pacific Theater. Survived by his wife and
children, Suzanne Stagg, Paul K., John W., Sandy (Steve) Fullmer, Tammy (Ray)
Fujikawa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his
son, David W. and daughter, Rosemary. Funeral services will be held Friday,
December 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple,
where family and friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and from 9:45
to 10:45 a.m. Friday. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery. The family wants to
thank the staff of the Wentworth for their devoted service to our father for
the past four years.

Jackson, Sheila Anne          
Sheila Anne Jackson 1942 ~ 2005 Sheila Anne Houlihan Jackson passed away early
December 19, 2005 in Murray, Utah from complications of leukemia, pneumonia
and ARDS. She was born February 16, 1942 to parents Charles Joseph Houlihan
and Alverda Myrtle Larson in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Ralph E. Jackson
in September 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a devoted wife, a caring
mother/grandmother and a dear, dear friend to many. She was a member of the
LDS Church and served in many callings, including Relief Society President.
She dutifully supported Ralph as Bishop and Stake President in Denver,
Colorado over a period of 16 years, serving together soon thereafter in an
inner-city branch. After 25 years in the same home in Denver, she and Ralph
moved to South Jordan, Utah, then to Louisville, Kentucky, and back to Utah to
settle in the Cottonwood area of Salt Lake. She was preceded in death by her
mother by only two months, her father having passed away in 1970. She is
survived by her husband; brother, Richard; two sisters, Kathy (Rennie) Tejeda
and Colleen Paige; her step-father, William White; two sons, Evan (Bessie) and
Dan (Tina); daughters, Kimberly Small and Cynthia (Jim) Garrison; 14 beautiful
grandchildren and seven great-grand-children. Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Thurs., December 22nd, at the Salt Lake Cottonwood Stake Center, 1830
East 6400 South, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery. Online condolences at

Jones, Marva Lyman Bishop          
Marva Lyman Bishop Jones 1936 ~ 2005 Marva Jones passed away peacefully in her
sleep Sat. morning, December 17, 2005 with her husband by her side. She was
born to Marvin J. Bishop and Ky Lyman Sept. 15, 1936 in Blanding Utah. Marva
married her eternal friend Ray B. Jones Aug. 29, 1958. Marva loved music and
as a 17 year old she sang in the Tabernacle Choir at the Swiss Temple
dedication. She also sang with the Bountiful Sweet Adeline's and was the
president for several years. She graduated from South High School. She
received degrees from the U of U in History and Choral Conducting. She was a
very protective mother which led her to volunteer work with drug awareness.
She battled against drug abuse and became president of the Federation for Drug
Free Youth. She helped increase the attendance of Federation conferences from
250 to 14,000. Because of her exceptional talents as an organizer she directed
and sat on many civic boards. In 1963 she was involved in a terrible auto
accident that severely broke her back and damaged her body. She was in
constant pain for 42 years. Her back began to further deteriorate the last two
years. She was bed-ridden the last 10 months of her life. In spite of her
pain, she was upbeat, thoughtful, caring and loved everyone she met. She
especially enjoyed her crazy family, dogs and being at Lake Powell on her
houseboat. Her main love was for her husband, children and grandchildren,
equaled only by her love for the gospel. She felt her greatest church calling
was serving a mission with her husband to Zimbabwe, Africa. Marva's mission
highlight was to organize and direct the Church Choir for the Prophet's visit.
Marva is survived by her loving husband Raybaby; children, Rhett (Jonzy),
Brandt and Julie, Dane and Rachel, Shawn and Art Davis, Trent and Chris, Cori
and Steve Byers, 15 grandchildren, her mother, seven brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held Friday, Dec. 23rd at the Bountiful 20th Ward, 1400 S.
100 E., Bountiful. Friends are invited between 3-6 p.m., with a Memorial from
4-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the LDS
Church's Perpetual Education Fund. With our loss we are now "Marvaless."

Kolby, Alice Thatcher         
Alice Thatcher Kolby "GiGi" Alice Thatcher Kolby, age 97, passed away
peacefully at her home on December 20, 2005. She was born on July 2, 1908 in
Rexberg, Idaho to Raymond and Elsie Webster Thatcher. She attended East High
School. In June of 1940 she married Josef Andrew Kolby in Salt Lake City,
Utah. Alice loved to read, work, play bridge and reminiscence about the past.
She endured hard times and lived through horseless carriages, and men walking
on the moon. Alice was a strong person and was always helping others until the
end. We will miss her dearly! Alice is survived by her loving children, David
Kolby and Judith (Karl) Rosenberg; sister, Dorothy Thatcher Hecht; four
grandchildren, Christine (Dennis Bjelland) Larsen, Eric (Tiffany) Larsen, Dave
(Jill) Larsen, Amber (Kelly) Swalberg; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew
Larsen, Katelynn Swalberg, Noah Bjelland, Hayley Larsen, Dhannylle Swalberg,
Mathew Larsen, D.J. Swalberg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Josef
Kolby (Andy). Memorial services for Alice will be held on Thursday December
22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland
Drive, where friends may call from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the
services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to express
our deepest appreciation for the loving care and comfort given by the staff of

Cleo Light 1926 ~ 2005 Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and
friend, Cleo Denise Earl Light, age 79, passed away December 20, 2005 at home
in West Valley City. Born February 23, 1926 in Salt Lake City, daughter of Ira
Earl and Louise Peterson Earl. She married E. John Light November 21, 1942 at
her parents home in Salt Lake City. Cleo and John had three children: Kenneth,
Dick and Deann. She has lived in the West Valley area since 1953. She is a
member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers where she served as Camp
President of the West Valley First Camp and 1st Vice President of the Salt
Lake West Company; Family Campers & RV serving as Charter Member of Four Funs
chapter, President of Four Funs Chapter, District Vice President, State Vice
President, first president and charter member of Fountain of Ute, National
active and retired Federal Employees Association, serving as District 3 Vice
President for five years, and currently the Alzheimer's Chairman. Cleo was
also an active member of the LDS Church where she was in a Primary presidency
and counselor in the Relief Society. She was also the first Cub Scout Den
Mother of the Granger 1st Ward. She is survived by her husband, E. John Light;
children: Kenneth (Diane), Dick and Deann Porter; 10 grandchildren; 29
great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Mildred Gardner,
Shiryl (Casey) Butterfield and Glenda Fullerton; sister-in-law Jackie Earl.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ted Earl. Funeral services will be
held Friday, 1:00 p.m. at the West Valley 1st Ward, 3963 South Peachwood Drive
(3480 West) Family and friends may visit Thursday, 6 - 8 p.m., at McDougal
Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, and again Friday at the church, 12 -

Gertrud T. Lockwood 1909 ~ 2005 Together Again Gertrud T. Lockwood, 96, passed
away Dec. 15, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born January 27, 1909 in
Pillau, Germany. She migrated to Utah in April 1926. She married Kors S.
Lockwood May 21, 1929 who preceded her in death in 1984. She is the mother of
Adrian Lockwood (Blanca), Salt Lake City, UT. and Mary Delka, Helena, MT., six
grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She loved being a homemaker, especially cooking and baking. She was an active
member in the LDS Church. We would like to express our thanks to the staff
members at Avalon Valley Rehabilitation where Gertrud spent her last five
years for their loving care. A heartfelt thank you to her very special friends
Esther Strong and Joyce Hinman for their gentle, loving care. Viewing will be

Maroudas, Margarita Yiannis        
Margarita Yiannis Maroudas "May Her Memory Be Eternal" Margarita Yiannis
Maroudas, age 98, passed away December 18, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah,
surrounded by her family. She was born November 14, 1907 in Sparta, Greece to
Nikolas and Suzanna Yiannis. She married George Demetrios Maroudas in 1930 in
Athens, Greece. Margarita was widowed after six years of marriage and
experienced many hardships, struggling to raise three young children ranging
from the ages of eight months to four and a half years old, during the German
occupation. She immigrated to the United States on April 3, 1956 and worked
for five years for Ajax Presses. Margarita was a very talented needle worker,
making many beautiful lace tablecloths, afghans, and crocheted handicrafts for
all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margarita was a
member of the Greek Orthodox Church. She will be remembered for her
unconditional love for all her family members, her quick wit and the wonderful
poems and songs she taught us growing up. She is survived by her daughter, Pat
(John) Karpakis; sons: Jim (Mary) Maroudas, George (Voula) Maroudas; sisters:
Athamantia, Greece; and Pota, New York; seven grandchildren, and 10
great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two
sisters, and one brother. We would like to thank the staff of the Woodland
Park Care Center for their efforts and love shown to Margarita and her family.
May her memory be eternal and we look forward to seeing you again in our

McGee, Isabell Boynton (Isabella)       
Isabell (Isabella) Boynton McGee "Aunty" Oh joyous day. Isabella's fervent
prayer, "take me home", was granted as she peacefully passed away the morning
of December 19, 2005. Isabella Boynton McGee was born October 30, 1917 in
Bountiful, Utah to Charles Walton Boynton and Lillie Ann Eggett Boyton. She
married Edward Lee McGee March 20, 1935. Their marriage was solemnized in the
Salt Lake Temple March 21, 1955. Isabella was a faithful member of The Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. During her work
career she was employed at Auerbach's Department Store and Meyers Cleaners.
Isabella was "Aunty" to everyone and expressed her love though small acts of
kindness. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing delicious meals and
treats with her family and neighbors. Isabella was an example of faith,
independence and hard work. She brought happiness to our lives and we will
each carry a special memory of her in our hearts.. We express appreciation to
Highland Care Center for the patient and loving care they provided. Isabella
is preceded in death by her husband and all her brothers and sisters. She is
survived by sister-in-law, Cleo R. Edwards, Salt Lake; nephew, Ronald
(Lynette) Eichers, Salt Lake; niece, Lillie Ann (Lewis) DeYoung, Salt Lake;

Mugleston III, Robert Kenneth           
Robert Kenneth Mugleston III 1974 ~ 2005 Robert Kenneth Mugleston III, age 31,
a very talented soul returned to his heavenly father on December 17, 2005, in
Salt Lake City, Utah. Bobby was born on November 20, 1974 in Long Beach, CA to
Robert Kenneth Mugleston II and Denise Bastian Mugleston. Residing in
Whittier, CA for most of his life. Bobby was a fantastic artist, painter, and
drummer. Leaving his "perfection" on everything he touched. Bobby could read
by the age of 2 and was performing onstage with his family, playing drums,
singing, and dancing by the age of 4. He loved working with his dad, brother,
uncles and grandpa in the family construction business. It gave him joy using
his talents to help and impress anyone around him. Bobby was the life of the
party at all times. Telling jokes and making people laugh was his specialty.
When he wasn't making people laugh or working, Bobby was an important part of
his son's and nephews' lives. He dedicated much of his time to playing with
them, teaching them things like the drums, and just being an all around great
dad and uncle. He loved making them all happy. Bobby is survived by his son,
Christopher Robert DeSilva, who was the light of his life. His parents.

Brother, Whitney. Grandparents Robert Kenneth and Jessie Mugleston, and

Nielson, Blaine L.       
Blaine L. Nielson 1935 ~ 2005 Blaine L. Nielson passed away December 15, 2005
after lingering complications from surgery. Born April 21, 1935 to Clara and
Maynard Nielson (deceased). He had one brother, Spencer Nielson (deceased). He
was raised in Bluffdale, Utah and attended Jordan High School. Blaine was a
gentleman. He always treated everyone with respect, regardless of their
station in life. He could always be counted on for a kind word or a good dirty
joke. He had a passion for the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, and camp with
friends and family. He was employed with United Airlines until he was no
longer able to work. He married Carol Nielsen and from that union he is
survived by a son, Scott Lord of Arizona. Later divorced, he met and married
Rosalie Sherrill Nielson (deceased) and they had four children, Blaine Jr.,
Rachel (Kelly) Farrington, Mat (Cindy) Nielson, and Clint Nielson. The family
would like to thank Collen Patten, Anne's Nursing Home and Fairview Care
Center for the loving care and support of Blaine for all these years. A
private family memorial will be conducted.

Paul, Marjorie G.        
Marjorie G. Paul 1922 ~ 2005 Marjorie G. Paul, devoted friend and beloved
caregiver, died on Dec. 15, 2005 at Saint Joseph Villa where she had spent her
last months surrounded by loving care and support. Marjorie was born on March
31, 1922 in Salt Lake City to Mabel and Alvin Paul. She graduated from East
High, Saint Mary-of-the-Wasatch, Holy Cross Hospital School of Nursing, and
the School of Public Health in Chapel Hill. She worked diligently in the field
of community health nursing in Utah, Oregon, and internationally. In 1977 she
was part of the team which started Hospice of Salt Lake. Her life work was
dedicated to bringing health care to underserved and high risk populations.
Marjorie was a long time birder and member of numerous organizations devoted
to studying and preserving the natural wonders of our world. Marjorie was a
faithful member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, Mizpah Chapter #50 of the
Eastern Star, and the Utah Nurses Association. She was preceded in death by
her parents and brother, Jack. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Susan
Roberts Paul, five nieces and nephews (and their spouses), eleven grand nieces
and nephews, and several cousins, as well as countless friends and admirers.
Her smile will always shine in our hearts. A funeral will be held at Saint
Paul's (261 South 900 East) on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 11 in the morning. A

Richards, S. Maxine Lloyd          
S. Maxine Lloyd Richards 1917 ~ 2005 Our sweet, beloved mom passed away
peacefully on December 19th to join her loved ones whom preceded her in death.
We know how happy she is and we are happy for her, but we will miss her so
much. She was so kind, loving and unselfish. She was always thinking of others
and doing nice things for everyone. She was born April 14, 1917 in Salt Lake
City, Utah to William Charles Lloyd and Stella Beebe. She graduated from South
High School. She married Glen Joseph Richards on July 23, 1936 in Nephi, Utah.
She was a member of the L.D.S. Church. She loved to do genealogy and family
history, and had done it for many years. Her favorite hobbies were to crochet
and play games. She taught her children games when they were young, and then
taught her grandchildren. Her whole life was dedicated to her kids and
grandkids. She outlived her parents, husband and all her brothers. We're sure
she is having a wonderful reunion with them. Maxine is survived by her
children, David G. (Ann) Richards, Dean L. (Harriet) Richards and Ellen L.
(Roland) Richards; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is
preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, husband, stillborn son and
beloved grandson, Steven Wadley. Funeral Services will be held Friday,
December 23, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Ridge 11th Ward, 7825 West Sharon
Drive (3360 So.) The family will receive friends at a viewing Thursday evening
from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and from
11:45 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at the Ward. Interment:

Schouten, Debbie Gallegos          
Debbie Gallegos Schouten 1957 ~ 2005 Debbie Marie was born July 15, 1957 in
Salt Lake City, UT to Moises and Flora (Herrera) Gallegos. Debbie passed
peacefully in the presence of her two loving sons and husband as well as her
many close family members on December 19, 2005 in her home. Debbie's
courageous spirit held strong through seven years of tribulation with breast
cancer. The strength she demonstrated was surpassed only by her love and
appreciation for all that life offers. Those around her, especially her
family, grew tremendously from the attitude that Debbie demonstrated. She is
truly an inspiration. Her passion for life has been transmittable to all who
have had the privilege of being near to her. Debbie's exuberance and
relentless will to live was evident to anyone with whom she had contact. Her
immense love was personified in the bonds she shared with her husband of 29
years, Ben and her two sons Lance and Chad. All three of whom she regards as
the loves of her life. Debbie attended Stansbury elementary school, West Lake
Junior High, and went on to attend Granger High. Debbie grew up as a
self-proclaimed tomboy and developed a love for sports and the outdoors.
Debbie particularly loved softball and excelled greatly at racquetball. She
continued to play softball and take long bike rides throughout her bought with
cancer. Debbie also grew up in an era defined by rock and roll. And that she
took advantage of. She always has, and always will be a music lover. Her car
stereo blasted; the volume remained loudly cranked until her last days. Rock
on! In her adulthood, Debbie could rarely be found at home on summer weekends.
She spent the majority of that time high in the Rocky Mountains of Utah with
her luxurious trailer. She cherished that trailer nearly as much as the
gorgeous natural surroundings that she shared with her closest family members
and friends. Additionally, Debbie took pleasure in her mountainous environment
during all seasons. Whether it was fall, winter, or spring she could be found
basking in the comfort of the cabin in Timberlakes with her brothers and
sister and other family members of the like. There she found great pleasure in
taking long walks with her sister, dogs, and anyone else willing to stroll
along. Travel was among other of life's pleasures where Debbie found solace,
especially during her illness. If not in the mountains, Debbie could be found
on the shores of Hawaii. Her most recent trip with her family was as recent as
October 2005. Debbie not only traveled the world but also voyaged through the
hearts of a tremendous number of people with whom she came in contact. The
students and faculty of Jordan Hills Elementary were particularly touched by
her benevolent natured persona. She was employed there for 20 years as lunch
manager up until her passing. The work Debbie performed there reached much
deeper than lovingly serving meals to hungry young students. She touched each
student and faculty member individually. Debbie's entire family would like to
extend a very sincere thank you to the Jordan School District for their love
and support during Debbie's illness as well as her healthy time spent with
staff and student body alike. She also put in part time work at Cottonwood
Hospital Food Service where many friendships also blossomed. The family's
deepest gratitude is also extended to Dr. Litton and his entire staff at the
Utah Cancer Specialists. These very special people with extraordinary jobs not
only provided necessary care for an ill woman, but a comfortable environment
where some of Debbie's many friendships were bonded. The love and care that
Debbie received there is irreciprocal and unsurpassed. The family's
appreciation is immeasurable. On Debbie's behalf, the family would also like
to extend thanks to IHC, including at no secondary degree, IHC Hospice. Their
compassionate work will not be forgotten. Their sincere concern for Debbie's
well being during her last days demonstrated the most loving and empathetic
environment any human could possibly provide. Thank you. Debbie is survived
by: her loving husband, Ben. Her two sons Lance (Corin, the daughter she never
had) and Chad. Her beloved dog, Lady. Her special sister and best friend,
Janet (Dave) Puttuck. She had an individual, special bond with each and every
one of her brothers: Randy (Linda B), Robert (Linda J), Donald, Junie, Tom and
Russell Gallegos. nieces and nephews: Dustin, Stephanie, Lindsay, Brian, Amy,
James, Chris, Charmaine (Dom). Grand nephews and Nieces: Dominic, Jonathan,
Maxwell and Jayden. The entire Schouten and Taylor families. Preceded in death
by her mother Flora and father Moises. A special friend and mentor Danny
Smith. We love you Mom! We'll miss you Debbie! We'll see you later, the love

Sommer, Edwin Emil Heinz           
Edwin Emil Heinz Sommer "EDZ" Ed died December 16, 2005 in Salt Lake City,
Utah. I was born on July 14, 1919 to Julius Karl Albert Sommer and Frieda Anna
Else Wetzel, in the City of Breslau, Schlesieu, Germany. I Married Christa
Elfiede Kempe on November 9, 1944. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt
Lake Temple on November 9, 1945 on our first wedding anniversary. I immigrated
to this great nation on May 14, 1929. What a sight it was to see the Statue of
Liberty as we passed her on the ship SS St. Louis. I was an active member of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, holding many positions. I
spent 36 1/2 years serving this great nation, in the Navy, Army and Tooele
Army Depot. I was a Pearl Harbor survivor. I helped open the Cottonwood
Heights Spa. I worked there 17 1/2 years part-time and full-time. My greatest
love was working in the temple of our Lord-9 1/2 years as a veil worker in the
Salt Lake Temple and 16 years in the Jordan River Temple as an ordinance
worker. My lovely wife and I loved doing work for our ancestors. There's no

Spratt, Patrick J.       
Patrick J. Spratt 1941 ~ 2005 Died Dec. 14 in Yakima, WA. His long time
sweetheart Sandy Dekker, also of Yakima, preceded him in death a few hours
earlier. Our condolences to Sandy's daughters Shannon and Allison and
grandchildren Wendy and Bailey on their double loss. Pat was born to Samuel J.
and Madge Miller Spratt Nov. 17, 1941 in Salt Lake City. He was the third of
seven children. He graduated from Granger High in 1960. He served in the Navy.
He married Cleta Karr in 1961. Together they had seven children. They later
divorced. Pat is survived by his children, son Jerry, Lacey, WA; daughters
Margaret (Sam) Harper, Katherine (Maurice) Dickinson, Colleen, Maureen (Paul)
Hefti, Sacramento, CA; Shannon, Barbara (Jared) Cowart of Highlands Ranch, CO;
12 grandchildren; sister Peggy Rohrer; brothers Joe and Dan. Preceded in death
by a brother Leslie, sisters LaNaya Fowler and Kay Jensen and his parents. Pat
loved to read and go fishing. He had a great laugh. He enjoyed conversation.
An informal memorial will be held Dec. 23 at 5 p.m. at the Chapel located at

Thornberg, Dean Sigfred       
Dean Sigfred Thornberg 1923 ~ 2005 Dean Sigfred Thornberg, age 82, passed away
on Sunday, December 18, 2005 peacefully with his family by his side from heart
failure. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 6, 1923 to Gosta
Sigfred Thornberg and Mildred Hardy. He married Wanda Lee Blair October 24,
1950, the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Our dad is
loved, cherished and honored by his family. He is survived by the love of his
life, Wanda and they were married for 55 years. They have four children:
Pamela (Buss) Poulson, West Jordan; Douglas (Teresa), Salt Lake City; Bryce
(Pam), Hurricane; and Sheri, Morristown, NJ. Dean has 10 grandchildren, Kevin,
Brandy, Alana, Breony, Dean, Vincent, AnnaLee, Halley, Luke, and Sydnee. He is
survived by 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, his
brothers Fred (Dana), Ray (Glenda), Dick (Marlys) and a sister Johanna
(Claude) all of Oregon. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter Casey, his
mother and father, his brother Mack and sister-in-law Lyle. He attended Cyprus
High School in Granger, Utah. Subsequently, while attending Utah State
University, he enjoyed playing football and studying engineering. In 1942,
Pearl Harbor was attacked and Dean immediately enlisted in the United States
Navy where he proudly served as an Aviation Electronics Technician's Mate,
First Class. In the Navy he learned radar counter measures that he applied as
a Tech Rep at Gilfillan Brothers for 14 years. He then founded the
Navigational Aids business in Utah with E-Systems / Montek for 17 years. In
this process he created several hundred engineering jobs for the great people
of the State of Utah. After E-Systems, he was a founder of JTP Radiation Inc.
and subsequently co-founded dB Systems Inc. with his son Bryce where he worked
as the company President from 1992 until his death. He acquired several US
Patents and was integrally involved with the development of various high
performance systems and antennas used principally for aircraft navigation and
landing. These systems include GPS, TACAN, DME, ADS-B, TTLS, and FTS.
Thousands of Dean's navigation and landing systems are deployed world wide and
are used daily to safely guide aircraft and bring the pilot and crew home
safely. Dean was a High Priest and faithful member of the LDS church. He was a
great missionary through the example that he set for others with whom he
worked and associated with. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December
22, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Mt. Olympus North Stake Center, 4176 S. Adonis
Drive (at 3930 East-Gary Rd). A viewing will be held from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
prior to the service. There will also be a viewing on Wednesday, December 21,
2005 at Cottonwood Mortuary at 4670 Highland Dr (at 1800 East), Holladay, UT
from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where friends and family may visit. Interment will be
at Holladay Memorial Park at 4900 Memory Lane (at 1990 East), Holladay, UT.

Valdez, Antonia Mestas        
Antonia Mestas Valdez 1929 ~ 2005 Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and
sister, Antonia Maria Placida Mestas Valdez, passed away peacefully December
19, 2005. She was born October 1, 1929 in Gallina, New Mexico to Pedro and
Ascencion Serrano Mestas. She married Jose "Joe" Orlando Valdez April 19, 1954
in Aztec, New Mexico; he died September 29, 2001. She was a member of the
Catholic Church. She loved her family, and enjoyed gardening, the mountains
and outdoors, camping and fishing, trips to Wendover, and guitar music.
Survived by her children, Orlando, David A., Joe T. (Karen), Alice O. (David)
Bell, Albert C. (Natalie), and Melinda (Michael) Wilcox; 25 grandchildren; 23
great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sarah
Vasquez, Adelia Mestas, Virgie Paez, and Naomi Albo. Preceded in death by her
parents, husband, and brothers, Ernest and Macial Mestas. The family would
like to thank Rocky Mountain Hospice, especially, LeAnn and Frankie. Funeral
Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes
Church, 2840 South 9000 West, where friends may call Thursday 6-7 p.m. and a
prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.

June M. Westbrook 1916 ~ 2005 BOUNTIFUL, UTAH - Our beloved mother and family
matriarch, June Mann Moss Westbrook, age 89, died December 19, 2005 in
Bountiful, Utah, of complications following a stroke. She was born June 1,
1916 in Bountiful, Utah, a daughter of Orvis Israel and Myrtle Holbrook Mann.
She married Royal Moss, January 10, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their
marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple January 10, 1938. He died
June 7, 1969. She married Joe Huff Westbrook, August 5, 1971 in the Salt Lake
Temple. He died October 10, 2003. June was a life long resident of Bountiful,
born, raised and living there all her life. She was an active member of the
LDS Church serving in all the auxiliaries. June is survived by her four
children: Sharon and Joe Springer of Salina; Dexter and Sharon Moss of Magna;
Juliene and Dennis Scott of Bountiful; Malia and John Lewis of Indiana,
Pennsylvania; step-son: Joseph and Carol Westbrook of Whitney, Texas; 13
grandchildren; six step-grand-children; 31 great-grandchildren; 13
step-great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law:
Bernice Mann of Bountiful. She was preceded in death by a son, Maynard Moss; a
granddaughter, Sheila Springer; a step-grandson, Steven Gary Westbrook; and 10
siblings: Basil Mann, Gerald Mann, Margie Coston, William Mann, Howard Mann,
Kenneth Mann, Fay Peterson, Leland Mann and Thayle Argyle. Friends may call
for viewing at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 South Main Street
in Bountiful, Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 10:30 to 12 Noon prior to the
