Harold was also a member of the Desert Island Country Club (Rancho Mirage, CA), Flat Rock Fishing Club (Idaho), New State Hunting Club, and the Teton Valley Lodge (Idaho). To reduce the magic of Harold's life to his extensive list of business and social accomplishments seems incomplete, since such accomplishments, although important in their works, are only parts of his true life's achievements. We will miss the twinkle in Harold's eye, his unending curiosity and the genuine interest he had for everyone he met. Lucky were the many who experienced Harold's charm and wit, especially at dinner parties or the many social functions he attended. A noble gentleman always, we will remember Harold for the ready smile on his face and the love and kindness in his heart. The full balance of his life was celebrated with his wife Eleanore Eccles, who he married on September 1, 1937. Together they raised a family, traveled extensively, played lots of golf, entertained and enjoyed 67 very good years together.
